It was a completely normal day in Ponyville for Twilight Sparkle, or at least, that's what she thought it would be. That should have been her first clue that something was up. She expected it to be a quiet day where she could hang out with her friends, and maybe she'd get a friendship letter in if she was lucky.

She did not, however, expect everypony in town to turn into a flaming racist overnight.

Metal 0-1 was thought KIA after the mission "Down the Rabbit Hole", sacrificing themselves to get the Russian president and their friends to safety. After awakening in a strange land, Sandman, Truck, and Grinch must piece together what happened after the mission, how they escaped alive, and how they are ever going to figure out a way back home.

A minor injury leads Apple Bloom to learn that she and the other Crusaders aren't like normal ponies. Not having their marks has always been their common bond, but as the trio uncover their unique nature, it becomes clear that their lives are intertwined on a much deeper level. As they learn the secrets of their shared past, it leads to revelations about their friendship, families, and their long sought after talents. What they discover and accomplish along the way is beyond what anypony would have thought possible.

It has been several months since the disappearance of Twilight Sparkle..

One night, after watching her sister raise the Moon and set the heavens alight, Princess Celestia begins to bed down for the night, only to be interrupted by portal forming in her room. From out of the portal comes none other than Twilight Sparkle, garbed in strange armor.

Princess Celestia, along with Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor, are overjoyed by the Element of Magic's return, but are justifiably curious as to where she had been and what she had been doing. And so, Twilight begins her tale. A tale of survival against impossible odds. A tale of a people fighting for the most basic right of all sentient beings. The right to exist.

Cast the shadows out from sight
A final stand a shouting cry
All the wrongs now turned to right
So fight the past
Take back the night
And call upon the torch tonight
To bring out all the ghosts to light
Because at last we have to go it's time
To take back the night

"My name, is Twilight Sparkle. I am the newest of the princesses. After my achivement in-... How you say... The "Human" World, I had been given my own universe to rule on my own. But... Soon... It all backfired..."

It was on this fateful day when the clouds turned grey and the call was made; the call of Code 5. The sirens rang out and ponies ran for their lives. Those who were unlucky were the first ones to go. You could hear their screams as the zombies attacked, and then their silence as their bodies went motionless. Nopony knows how it all began, the only thing to know; fight and survive. We have to defeat them, before they defeat us.

The Bronies have been preparing for this day for years. The day that their plans, our plans, could finally come to fruition. After a devastating campaign against the Brony community since the Anonymous hacking organization forced many false titles upon the Bronies, all but a few thousand have been shot, arrested, executed, and treated as though they were but rats.

As though they were but vermin.

An abandoned bunker for military purposes has been commandeered by the surviving Bronies for the sole purpose of a place to live, regrow, and, most importantly, develop the technology to move on. To a better place, to Equestria.

Unoriginal, yes. Probably going to get hate, yes. Do I give a toss?

After Discord's reformation, he travels back to Canterlot with Celestia; but he never considered giving up the excitement of chaos so easily.
