What if, immediately following the defeat of Nightmare Moon, the Mane Six's new connection to the reactivated Elements of Harmony triggered a transformation in the six heroines, causing them all to be upgraded to alicorn status? Nyx, daughter of Twilight Sparkle, awakes to a world torn by war and ravaged by nuclear fallout. Alone, she is given the task to write down the final days of the heroes of Equestria to let the world know of their brave exploits, but is given a much harder task-to live her life as best as she can.

But, how can one live, if one sees herself as a monster. How can one live on, when there is nothing to live for?

Three months after the wedding a new Unicorn meets Twilight. To make matters worse it looks like she might replace her. Meanwhile Queen Chrysali returns with some dark secrets of her own. The mane six have more than their fair share of problems including facing those they viewed as friends.

After being defeated by the mane 6 in a foiled attempt to rule equestria with an iron hoof by infiltrating the wedding in Canterlot and being forced back to the hive, the changelings flew off with their tails between their legs. All except for one. Queen Chrysalis was banished to the desert to live out her days in isolation. She was given a single choice. Change her ways or be killed. She has only a month. Will she do it?

Queen Chyrsalis has wondered the woods hungry and alone. When she is very weak she hears a some colts coming up on her. Unable to defend herself she changes he look in hope that they would just leave her.
But instead a kind colt and his friend rescue her. After waking up in a hospital who knows what her fate will be.

The quiet of winter is shattered by the sounds of war. An army of changelings, lead by an ancient evil, has brought conflict within the peaceful borders of Equestria.
Now, Princess Celestia must find a way to safeguard her citizens. But, when faced with an enemy who always seems to be two steps ahead, how can she keep her beloved Equestria safe?
