Unable to have foals, Mr. and Mrs. Cake turn to a new technology. It works, and Pumpkin and Pound Cake are born as a result, but unfortunately, it also opens up a whole new can of worms with regards to parental rights when Pumpkin Cake's biological father tracks them down. Family ties are strained, friendships are tested, and the very foundations of Equestrian law are shaken in the resulting conflict. Meanwhile, how is this affecting the foals? Who is the true parent- the biological father, or the father that raised them?

Who doesn't like making new friends?! That's Pinkie's philosophy, one that she carries out with the utmost determination.

Under the impression that they are lucky, since rarely do mares ever give birth to twins, the Cakes decide to have another go at the whole having-a-baby thing.

They could not have anticipated the result.

This story takes place, after season 9 of MLP:FIM
When twilight is crowned the ruler of Canterlot and the agreement between the mane 6 is stated, that every now and then, they all gather at Canterlot castle and catch up as friends.

This story follows Twilight taking action as her friends begin to stop showing up, one by one. Eventually going to Ponyville.
As twilight arrives there, she notices that not everything is as it may seem.

All chapters (apart from chapter 1) are inspired by the author Junji Ito, in what happens to the characters. If you haven read any of Junji ito's work i would highly recommend you do. He is a body horror manga artist, and is very talented in his craft. He is one of my favorite authors as of writing this series
