It was a night just like the one before, Spike was cleaning and Twilight was studying and beginning another letter to Celestia. Another letter detailing something she had learned, another letter that asked the princess questions, another letter that went unanswered.

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria...

One week ago, Twilight Sparkle was crowned the fourth Princess of Equestria. Tonight, Ponyville hosts the 1003rd Summer Sun Celebration, and Princess Celestia and Princess Luna want a vacation. With two fine young princesses like Cadance and Twilight to take over for them, nothing could possibly go wrong.

In an alternate universe, Empress Celestia is the sole ruler of Equestria - later to be surpassed by her daughters; her heirs. Princesses Sunset and Twilight had had a cozy life, until one day when their mother decided to reveal just how much truth an old pony's tale may hold - a tale that may be the beginning of a new one.

Prophesy says that Twilight Sparkle will not outlive her friends.

To preserve the Princess, her friends must survive.

They may not be immortal - but one year can become a thousand at the speed of light.

The bond between teacher and student can span generations and in some cases is passed between them. After Starlight's graduation, Twilight, Starlight and Celestia share a quiet conversation. Through this bond of teacher and student, they are all connected, with many of the same hopes and fears. How will they move forward and can some of these fears be put to rest?

The story is short and about Celestia keeping Twilight warm in her room. As she is blanketing the young sleeping filly, the alicorn thoughtfully thanks her for granting her the happiness she had felt when she was young.

A simple story between a mentor and her student (but emphasized in a way where I imply Celestia as a motherly figure to Twilight). Enjoy, and safe winter holidays. Be careful now.

Ever since Twilight moved to Ponyville, she's had almost no time with her teacher. Finally, they come together for tea, as they once did every week.

This is a little drabble I whipped up one day before work for the purposes of figuring out my perspective of how Twilight and Celestia would act if they were in private. This does stand alone, but it also includes a reference to Sworn to Soar. Not a lot happens here, but I liked it, and I hope you might like it too.

Update: So....in two days, the thing I spent the absolute LEAST time on to submit to this site...has the most likes. and the quickest accumulation of views. my big long thing has been around for a couple months and is still growing and doesn't even have twice this many views!

When Twilight Velvet suffers a heart attack and passes away, Twilight feels nothing but guilt at the thought of their last conversation, and the last thing she said to her mother, being the cause of it. Things only get more complicated when her father, Night Light, reveals to her and Shining Armor a secret that he and Velvet had been keeping from them about Twilight's own past. Twilight then visits her former mentor, Princess Celestia, to have her help in finding some answers. Meanwhile, it seems that Celestia is hiding something...

This is my first real attempt at an MLP fanfic, and of course, what better first fic than Momlestia? This is mainly based off of In the Sun's Shadow, a fic by Polaris501, Golden Secrets by Backlash91, and Grasping Happiness by NeonEclipse. Being my first fic, some constructive criticism would be nice, but please note that I might end up not making any major corrections.
