Fluttershy has always had difficulty with love. She gets into her own head, worries that she isn't doing enough for her partner, and ends up getting too stressed out to enjoy it. She would rather just avoid romance.

Rainbow Dash thinks she just needs to find a pony she doesn't feel that way about, so she sets her up with Pinkie Pie to try again.

Destiny is a funny thing.

Premise: To the ponies in Ponyville, Fluttershy has assumed a small and quiet role in life in tending the animal friends that she lives with. But, to every pony in the non-mainstream cultures that frequent darker and more mysterious points in Equestria, she is known as the Draconic Princess of the Night. Her voice is known as both one to rouse the blood in hundreds and calm even the most violent of beasts. Fluttershy however hasn’t told any of her friends, and gets a surprising group of ponies during one of her band’s late night shows. How does she react? Read on, and prepare for a face melting story.

When everypony else has left one of Pinkie Pie's parties, Fluttershy makes a personal confession to the pink mare but flees before seeing her reaction. Pinkie then leaves for a week to spend time with her family on their farm outside of Ponyville. As the return of Pinkie Pie draws closer, Fluttershy becomes anxious and starts to doubt whether she made the right choice in letting out her secret.

When sorting through a horde of ancient artefacts Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash accidentally activate the magical powers of a pair of bracelets which force the wearers to be in constant physical contact with one another. Stuck together until Twilight manages to find a way to remove the bracelets, the shy and timid pegasus must cope with re-emerging feelings, while the athletic and rash pegasus must cope with the various antics of a bunny rabbit out to get her.

It's Winter and all of Fluttershy's animal friends have either gone south or are hibernating, as she waits eagerly for spring she notices a small exchange between Rarity and Spike that leaves her with a realization that had never once crossed her mind. Ponies can pet Dragons.

But he didn't realize he had won over Fluttershy without even trying. But will Spike let go of his long time obsession and take a chance with someone who returned his feelings?

Ever since they first met, Fluttershy always wished Spike would care for her like she did for him. But he never did take his eyes away from Rarity. Thanks to new circumstances, she may just have a chance to show how she felt to him, but what will he think of this?
