Equestria. Yep. And its fun at first, because there are lots of new thingies to kill, and new shiny stuff to steal. But then, as Grimskull and his ladz venture out of the Everfree Forest, and deeper into Equestria, they must deal with new... squig-fings who talk, and don't even know his species, let alone name. The boyz must keep firm. This "Frendship" that the squig-fings talk about is a load of rubbish. All Grimskull wants is to kill stuff and steal its shiny things. And they all need to make it off this planet sane (by Ork standards, anyway).
That would require some good pilots and mechanics.
Unfortunately, the only things around that can offer these are the very squig-things he hates...

Morrslieb is the dark moon of the warhammer world. Known to be an ill omen and sign of chaos it has been known to drive people mad with visions and nightmares of hell and daemons, endless incessant voices giving dark promises and temptations. And even known to cause the body to warp and mutation for prolonged exposure.

One night it appeared behind Luna's moon, and for the first time Equestria knew true chaos.

The immaterium is an unpredictable and fickle aspect of reality, and "impossible" ceases to be a valid term when it is involved.

As such, when Twilight witnesses a fantastical cosmic event occur above Equestria, she immediately investigates. What she finds is nothing short of one of the most dangerous artifacts to ever make its way to the relatively peaceful realm of ponies: a blackened suit of massive armor, marked by the ouroboros.

Warhammer 40,000 crossover inspired by Blooms in the Dust.
Now with a sequel, Forged Anew!

For millennia I have watched this world, unable to influence it. Then, a thousand years ago, I was freed from my prison. I stayed in the shadows, influencing the world in subtle ways.

Now with Luna's return I reveal myself. They will need my help if they are to survive what I have foreseen. My name is Magnus and I will not fail again.

Disclaimer 1: This is a displaced story. If that isn't your thing please don't read it. No, seriously don't read it.
Disclaimer 2: I will be playing around with Warhammer canon so don't freak out if some things don't add up at first.

Lug wasn't the smartest. He knew that. And he was fine with that. As long as he had a club to swing or a ripper gun to fire, he was content, and there wasn't much thought needed beyond that.

And like many other Ogryn, he was content to serve the Imperium and it's interests until he died.

Until one fateful space skirmish with the forces of chaos, a drop-pod sent him careening through the warp, and soon after, into the Land of Equestria.

A world made up entirely of xenos, most of whom were small, fluffy, and colorful!

Lug likes it here already.

There are many legends whispered among the ponies of Equestria, but none are stranger than that of the metal man that fell from the stars. Legend has it that the metal man's suit of armor still exists to this very day, slumbering the centuries away in the Canterlot Archives ...

Takes place during the season four finale.

Here's some quick background info on what you need to know, seeing as the 40K universe is huge and no one can be expected to know everything.

The Space Marine chapter involved in this story is a little known chapter known as the Celestial Lions, who are a descendant of the Imperial Fists. They were targeted for destruction by the Inquisition after defying them on an Exterminatus that was due to purge a world the Lions had fought for and saved. They fought during the Third War for Armageddon mainly, and during the fighting, they were reduced from 950+ battle brothers to just 96. Their numbers are even lower now, due to events that will be explored during this story.

Edited and Proofread by the amazing Loyalist. He's seen some heresy.
