During a normal afternoon at Canterlot station, a gigantic train pulls in from the sky. It meets the ground with a loud clang and the rails buckle under the train's weight as it pulls into the station. The train stops with a hiss of steam and the cry of a whistle. The passenger car doors open but no one leaves the train. And with the arrival of the enormous locomotive it raises a few questions. What is a flying train doing in Equestria? And was this all by chance or was it a scheduled stop?

(This is my crossover idea on an old anime by the title of Galaxy Express 999.

This fanfic is based on the world of Equestria At War with its very own lore and world, but this fanfic mainly focuses on an alternate New Mareland where it becomes an independent Harmonic Republic if Wingbardy invaded during the Changeling attack on Canterlot in 1002 ALB.

Since MLP:FIM hasn't expanded upon the world outside of Equestria, I will be adding elements from EaW and my own original elements to the story.

On the brink of an invasion, the Republic of New Mareland, a war-torn nation from the Equestria at War universe, is abruptly transported to the "peaceful" world of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

The Changeling lands, having subdued the entirety of Equus focuses on New Mareland to make their foothold on Griffonia. New Mareland, after enduring huge losses during the campaign in Equestria, is woefully under-prepared to defend its skies and seas.

But with a bit of luck and magic, New Mareland is uprooted to a new but familiar world. With opportunities on the horizon, will New Mareland greet the inhabitants of this world with friendship or the barrel of a gun? Will the distrust, ambitions and greed between the parties of the Republic cause their downfall? Or will their conniving neighbours conquer them?

Princess Luna is a rather archaic princess. Being a thousand years forward in the world, it is understandable. She always assumed that she would always be an outlier to others, never finding something even nearly as old as her besides books and buildings.

However, she is surprised to discover an object more archaic than her. Far more archaic.

A train.

A rather... famous train.

When Princess Twilight Sparkle seeks to modernize Equestria, one of her first targets was the Equestrian rail network. Seemingly overnight, most lines were nationalized, the out of date steam locomotives were abolished and replaced by diesels and electrics, and unwanted lines were being ripped up left and right.

In a time where sentimentality could not stand in the way of progress, two colts will take it into their hooves to save an old line and keep its hundred ton secret safe from the scrappers torch. But they will soon learn that running a preserved railway is much more difficult than simply clearing the weeds and running trains.

With time of the essence and the scrappers torch an ever looming threat, hop aboard for an express run to adventure!

This story has received a complete overhaul, promising better storytelling, better character arcs, and more accurate railway practices!

Finding yourself in the halls of the this castle and asking it's ruler for a hug, couldn't be further from how you expected this day to go, yet that is exactly what happens, forcing you to face the fallout of your actions.

Sorry that I haven't edited this story before, but I simply couldn't wait with posting it. It just HAD to be done now. So please, excuse my subpar spelling and grammar.

The Roaring Twenties, a time of peace, prosperity, and wealth, especially in the United States. Until 1929, when stocks in the U.S crashed leading to the demise of the global economy. America was soon plunged into economic despair and poverty. With it looking like the American democracy was failing, riots soon broke out across the nation, with many people turning to the far right and left making the United States more divided than it ever was before. However, America's situation was about to worsen even more as a mysterious storm soon arrived in the nation, coating the entire country with bright light. Now the U.S finds itself alone and as the only beacon of democracy in this strange new world. Will the U.S begin the New Manifest Destiny with these savage creatures, or will it start to redeem itself from the mistakes of the past? Only time will tell. (Takes place between season 5-6)

Sonic and his friends have been at peace for a long time since their last battle against Dr. Eggman and his evil plans for world domination. Now, the peace that once felt so pleasant has turned into something very concerning.

After his last defeat, Eggman decided to erase himself from the map to avoid his hated enemy, while at the same time pursuing his goals where no one could stop him.

In 2024, it finally happened. Target, the big-name box-store, finally closed its last in-store restaurant, known to many as "The Target Cafe", but was officially known as "Food Avenue Express". For many years following their introduction in 1990, these little in-store restaurants served up countless meals of comfort food, and brought endless amounts of joy to countless people, but as the 2010's wore on, more and more of these cafes were closed, in favor of Starbucks, Pizza Hut Express, or a handful of other choices, none of which captured the same charm that the Food Avenue Express's had. The Covid-19 Pandemic saw almost all of them close for good, until by 2023, all that was left was the Target Cafe inside the Target in my hometown, but when Target closed that location following the construction of a brand-new Target across town, the last Food Avenue Express closed with it. Now with everything inside the old Target store being auctioned off, I saw an opportunity to save everything I could from the last Target Cafe, and bring it all to Equestria, where I hoped to finally fulfill my childhood dream of owning a real Food Avenue Express restaurant, free from Target's influence. And now that dream will become a reality

This story is very wholesome, and contains a lot of nostalgia. Story does contain minor language at times, but is rated "E" for "Everyone"

When an magical anomaly cause dimensional rifts to appear across the human world and pony world slowly merging them together. Will two separate worlds merge seamlessly or destroy each other in the merging. How will the societies change with the introduction of Equestrian magic and Human Technology? Will both parties be able to adapt to each others societal standards? (Crossover in the sense that i will bump up human technology using tech from Command and Conquer 3, and Votoms. I will also some characters from the respective series.)
