Rainbow Dash has her birthday coming up and Spitfire is coming by just to celebrate with her. Rainbow Dash should be in bliss, but this wouldn't be a story if that were the case.

This was written for submission to EQD Writing Training Ground's #015

Rainbow Dash, third year Wonderbolt cadet, is putting on the show of her life, a performance that decides whether she stays in the academy or goes. After an unforeseen event, she finds herself having to combat guilt, fear, and having lost the relationship she had worked so hard to obtain with her idol.

Spitfire and Rainbow Dash, an example of young love at its finest, are thrust rather abruptly into the middle of a different family's problems. How will they make it through? Only time will tell this family of mares.

When Spitfire finds herself grounded on the team injured list just before a show in Manehatten, she prepares for her life to crumble around her. The experience leads her to come across Rainbow Dash, temporarily managing the Manehatten weather teams. The two fliers will discover that sometimes it takes the darkest moments of our lives to find the brightest ones.

I was originally going to hold off on this but the new episode inspired me. This takes place at the wonderbolts training camp, but deviates slightly. I know the characters say other but that is only untill they put Lightning Dust in the characters list. Yes she is in here.

It's that time of the year where they have the biggest downpour of the fall season. As Rainbow Dash finds herself stuck in her cloud home, bored to death, a certain orange Pegasus crashes through her door.

Her master list, the plan for her life, has an item that she has never been able to check off; and the time has come to fix that. How hard can it be? All she needs to do is go on a date and get a kiss.

The night after they defeated Nightmare Moon and rescued Princess Luna, Rainbow Dash finds Twilight on a hilltop outside Ponyville, staring up at Canterlot. Afterwards, the two find themselves returning to that same hilltop night after night, discussing their crazy adventures, and the things they've never shared with anypony else.
