This story is an exercise in positive visualization, narrated by Luna with you as the subject. It was written for the June 2017 Writeoffs, where it came in seventh. The Luna painting is by FidzFox.

Pinkie regretted everything she's done in the past and has done especially after she killed her dear friend, Rainbow Dash. She would give anything to see her again. She just wants to hug her and tell her shes sorry for everything, but she knows there is no way possible to make what she wants a reality. Or is there? Such as a ''Way out''?

It's a story everyone knows. Nightmare Moon wins, the Princess disappears (sun preserve her), and eternal night descends on Equestria. Darkness begets terror, and terror smothers friendship. In other words, things fall apart exactly as expected. And then ponies get on with their lives. Funny how that works.

Applejack's a natural at getting on with things. But in this world, farming just ain't an option. So what's a pony to do?

Well, in her defense, monster hunting seemed like a nice gig at the time.

19/3/14 - Oooh! I see myself on the popular stories list! It may not be very high up, but yay! EDIT: Eeek! It made third place! Oh my gosh! You guys! It made first place on the Popular Stories list. Not sure that will last long, but hooray! Yes, I know it has no real significance!

20/3/14 - Oh my goodness! I feel like I'm accepting an Oscar or something. It was such a wonderful surprise to log on and see people congratulating me on getting featured, even if I did miss its time in the spotlight. This is an honour I never thought I'd have the privilege to accept.

A spin-off oneshot of my story, "What She Doesn't See". Bullied at school and close to invisible at home, Fluttershy felt hollow and heavy. Social anxiety and depression tie her down until her turmoil of emotions become too much to bear. It comes down to Rainbow Dash, the vivid and bold amaryllis of Fluttershy's life, having to show her that she isn't alone and that you need rain to make a rainbow. A Flutterdash shipfic.
