Long ago, far before Celestia and Luna came to power, there was an order that worshiped the moon. When Luna gained control over the moon, they worshiped her as a goddess. When she became Nightmare, they learnt dark magic to combat this new threat. As a consequence of this, the order was shunned and hated. Now, 1000 years later, Nightmare moon has awoken, and the last two protectors of the Order of the Moon are here to combat her.

When Sarge, Grif, Simmons, Donut, Caboose, Tucker and Church investigate a temporal distortion, they get pulled into another crazy adventure when they are transported to Equestria as ponies! Teaming up with the Mane six, they are forced to protect the land and themselves from O'Malley, as the evil A.I. has 48 hours to complete his task.

Extra info:
This fanfiction does not take place in any specific period during the RvB timeline, but it most resembles the end of season two. The Reds and Blues are still at Blood Gulch, O'Malley is controlling Doc, Lopez still has his body and is still with red team, Tex is not present. Any fan of RvB can tell you that there is no period in the Red vs Blue timeline when all of these things are true at once, making this an alternate universe fiction. As for MLP canon, this takes place after the season four finale.

In Equestria's early history, years before Luna had become a princess like her sister, ever before she gotten her cutie mark, she was once plagued with nightmares. She wanted to sleep without these monsters and demons to haunt her. Help does come in a blue box, from a stallion who calls himself "Doctor", with is assistance, and a pony whom everyone thought was Luna's imaginary friend.

Bewildered by this new world, things start getting more urgent as more of the Equestrian world arrives piece by piece, and not all of it is so friendly. Searching for answers, Asher, Twilight, and the rest of the gang stumble onto more questions, and uncover an amazing secret. One that could either save them all, or doom both worlds to annihilation.
