Rainbow Dash has always been complimented on her athleticism. What happens when she gets complemented for her looks, too, especially when said compliment comes from a certain purple dragon?

After reluctantly agreeing to come to Twilight's second official slumber party, Rainbow Dash finds herself trotting off just managing to keep her lunch down as all of her friends begin to discuss beauty tips and overly mushy-gushy feelings on colts. There she finds sompony (Or more correctly, some dragon) who shares more in common with her than thought.

Shippy-ish, only romance if you want there to be.

As they both begin to mature, Spike and Rainbow Dash have a conversation about life, love, and what it means to fly.

Rainbow Dash was never the kind of pony to care about what stallions thought of her, or at least that was what everypony assumed. When Spike finds out that what she really wants is to to be treated like a lady, he offers take her on a date. After all, it was just one date.

Nopony knows Ponyville's library better than Spike, yet when he finds an old book even he is baffled as to how it got there. Rainbow Dash, on the other hoof, seems more than happy to help discover its secrets.

Spike is left to his daily tasks as Twilight Sparkle is in Canterlot on official business. This includes a visit from Rainbow Dash, who is looking for more books to read. Spike gives her some suggestions and Dash admits he knows what he's talking about. This sparks something in Rainbow's head. She slowly begins to see the small purple dragon in a new light after a number of recent events. What exactly is going on with her?

Twilight needs to leave town for a mission from Princess Celestia, leaving Spike to watch the library while she's gone. Shortly after Twilight leaves, a certain rainbow maned pegasus come over to read the next Daring Do. But as Rainbow spends more time with the little dragon, she starts to have feeling for him. Meanwhile, Spike also has deep feeling for Rainbow. Can these two finally confess there love, or will they forever stay apart.

Spike's up to something, and Twilight's determined to find out what. But when she finds out, will she be able to see her Number One Assistant in the same way ever again?
