A man ends up in an Equestria where humans are a common occurrence. Slightly subdued shenanigans ensue.

This is a parody/homage to a very popular story and others that have followed in its footsteps. This particular fic is a bit old and had been forgotten in one of my folders until now. Not released initially due to not being good enough, I spruced it up enough so that now it is.

Princess Celestia is the paragon of Harmony. She is kind to her subjects and generous to those in need. She is loyal to her ideals and never compromised. She has a good, if mostly unknown, sense of humor. Above all else, she is always honest. Right?

Twilight Sparkle trusts Princess Celestia implicitly and in all things. The Princess has never steered her wrong, not once. When Twilight thought that her concerns for Nightmare Moon were being ignored, Celestia had her back, even if she was withholding information.

Wait a minute.

Shortly before Celestia leaves for Canterlot with the redeemed Luna, Twilight has a conversation with her mentor that will change her perspective on the Princess forever. She will receive something new, beautiful, and damning all the same.

Cynicism.

Six Little Words or: The Question That Twilight Didn’t Ask in Canon.

Twilight Sparkle succeeds in finishing Starswirl's mysterious spell, but just as her friends have rediscovered their true callings Celestia informs her of a new great purpose. Twilight and the other Element Bearers are to travel far beyond Equestria's borders, perform a spell together, and once again seal away an ancient evil that threatens not only Equestria, but all of Equis. Of course Twilight and her friends have vanquished many a foe in the past, so this seems simple enough.

But it's not. Celestia isn't telling the entire story. There is more to Starswirl's spell - and Twilight's destiny - than the six bearers have been told.

Thrust deep into an unknown world with little direction, Twilight and her friends will soon find that there's more to Celestia and Luna's shared past than they could have ever thought possible... and that the Equestria they call home may already be far beyond saving.

Just how, exactly, was Equestria really made?

An alternate universe diverging at the very end of "Magical Mystery Cure". Ignores comic canon. An attempt was made to stick to canon geography, but considering the world hasn't been mapped out in full there will be headcanon thrown in as well.

Metal ponies tell their stories,
Scientists in laboratories,
Lay the wire, mount the brain,
Mount their hips, teach them pain.
Teach them fear of revolution,
Internalize the evolution.
Set their ruin on the throne,
Until their chains become their own.
Palaces and hollow eyes,
To the Masters goes the prize.
And if this act should be maligned:
"For the good of ponykind."

When Starlight Glimmer tricked Twilight Sparkle into freezing a filly Rainbow Dash in crystal, the sonic rainboom was prevented. This sent a wave of chaos through the timesteam as destiny unraveled, and empowered Discord. He is quite curious as to who exactly was evil enough to cast a potentially lethal spell at a filly.

When somepony (or ponies) is responsible for the creation of a corpse, the natural first question to arise is frequently "What do we do with the body?" As it turns out, the Bearers have a few ideas.

Maybe more than a few.

Possibly too many.

(Written for BronyWriter's rather impromptu and completely unintentional Ponies Dispose Of Bodies anthology and inspired by his story Best Friends. And so it goes.)

One of Luna's many duties is to act as a guide for the souls of the dead.

In their eyes, they see their final dream.

In her eyes, she sees beauty.

Second place in a Quills and Sofas speedwriting contest. The theme was: Luna Ascendant; the prompt was "A Final Dream". Special thanks to Shaslan for the wonderful cover art - I could not have asked for a better representation of my story.

CONTENT WARNINGS: Implied self-harm, implied suicide, death.

Twilight's just received her official government escort license, which allows her to legally take on passengers during a teleport. Unfortunately, the fee was hideously expensive -- enough to completely wipe out all her spare bits. And there's a major purchase coming up which she refuses to put off. So what better way to raise the money than by giving her freshly-approved skill a workout? After all, it's winter, it's cold, ponies will get home all the faster, and since Twilight knows what 'escort' means, so will everypony else.

It's probably best not to bet on that last part.

Flitter doesn't like most ponies. There's hardly anything in the world Flitter likes, very few which she can even remotely tolerate, and only a couple which she truly loves. Fluttershy is not in the last two categories. Flitter sees Fluttershy as weak, and weakness disgusts her.

But when you're trying to help someone you love, you'll look for help in a lot of places -- including the cottage of the weakest pony in the world.

And for those willing to listen past their pain, it might be the place where they start to learn what true strength is.

She goes for long trots through the forest, as part of the duty. She observes the world around her, does her best to listen, and learns what she can from knowledge gained in solitude.

There are ways in which Fluttershy knows more about the world than anypony, and one of the first lessons was that the world is not what we make of it.

Ultimately, the world doesn't care.
