Now, however he has traveled into the far future with Ditzy only to have to seek out help. Help has come in the form of four Alicorn Princesses who explain what has happened to him. Add a regeneration, running for his and Ditzy's life and you have a recipe for being tired.

Afraid of heights and normal life in Cloudsdale, you decide to abandon your former life to start a new one on the ground, in a town called Ponyville. While there you find a cute mare that runs the local post office who goes by the name of Ditzy Doo.

I was still a young colt when I took my first steps into the world of steam engines and railroading. I was meant to sing the song of steel, the chorus of the railways. Despite the challenges, discomfort, and dangers, I wanted to be a railway pony. I wanted a fine steam engine like #3803. I wanted to be like Highball.

What I got? Well now, there's a story worth telling...

Golden Delicious has always known his friend Starburst as a mare who enjoys pushing herself beyond her limits. For years, she's worked herself to exhaustion on her visits to Sweet Apple Acres, and for years, he's tolerated it with a smile. What used to be incidents that scared him half to death are now a part of his routine: he and Starburst will work, Starburst will faint from exhaustion, he'll carry her back to the farmhouse, he'll tell her the dangers of overexerting herself, and she'll kindly dismiss his advice and just do it all over again. It's a tiring and endless circle, but he's more than happy to go through it again and again, always being there to take care of her when she's "burnt out."

He's just not sure why.

Heart Healer is such a pony., a nurse with the ability to heal others beyond cuts and bruises. If there is a pony with a broken leg, a broken heart, or a broken spirit, Heart Healer can nurture these things with the tender care of a mother to her foal.

Yet the broken heart on her flank reflects the state of her own heart all too well. Cracked, with little more than a bandage holding it together. How can a pony that brings so many ponies joy be so sad on the inside? And how does she manage to hide it?

Heart Healer is broken hearted, ironic enough, and tired. She has to make others happy, else what is her purpose? Yet, little does she realize, she doesn't do anything special to make ponies happy. All she does is be herself, and the healing happens all on its own. And when she's really broken, all it takes is a good friend to put her heart back together, she just has to let them in.
