Many years following the War of the Bell, Equestria is at rest, the land is filled with creatures living in peace, and friendship and the elements of harmony rein supreme. Princess Twilight Sparkle has grown in both maturity and wisdom as well as power, and, as royal advisor, Spike could not be happier with his life.

If only there wasn't the once-a-year event which seems to hurt his princess and friend so badly...

Twilight Sparkle thought that she had felt all that happiness could offer. She had perfect friends, an amazing mentor, and even became part of the Princess monarchy. She was as happy as she could be.

Until one day the news came...

Princess Twilight Sparkle was going to be a mother. And she never knew just how beautiful being a mother could be.

This fic was inspired by the picture, and the title came from it as well. The picture and title do not belong to me. I would like to thank Hikariviny for drawing such a wonderful picture. I understand that many of you don't like that it's Flash X Twilight. It's just who the picture was related to, and I wrote it based on the picture. Please don't dislike it because of this. Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle have hit it off great. They've gone out to countless places, hung out with each other's friends, and never seem to have a problem. They've hit it off so well in fact, that Twilight thinks he might be her 'special somepony', and feels like it's time he was properly introduced to her family. Will all of his training as a soldier help him survive for a few hours with her dad and brother?

Twilight creates a spell that should allow anypony to experience an amazing 24 hour day in the span of about an hour. She wants to test out a lighter version that should give her a 5 minute experience in a few seconds to make sure the spell is safe. After a successful test, however, she is worried that it might have actually worked better than expected...

The Cutie Mark Crusaders have won the right to carry the Ponyville team flag for the Equestria Games! While Scootaloo finds reason to hope that she may one day fly, Diamond Tiara finds reason to fear the inevitable result of her failure, and a member of the Royal Guard and a young princess decide to take an important step in their relationship, and reveal an important secret to one another.

During Twilight's visit of the Crystal Empire, she stumbles upon Flash Sentry, who is struggling to work on a piece of literature he wants to donate to the local library. As Twilight uses the opportunity to help Flash develop his story, another kind of development begins taking place.

Flash Sentry's time is almost up, and he knows it. It has been an incredible life, filled with so many wonderful and hilarious memories, and he wouldn't trade it for anything. Now, as his time slowly ticks down to zero, he remembers all the wonderful memories that made his life so magical, preparing himself for the final goodbye.
