In the midst of autumn's splendor Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Applejack and Rainbow Dash head north to participate in the Hoftston Mare-athon segment of the annual Running of the Leaves.

Yet, as they meet the sea something seems to call Rainbow Dash down, down into the fog and uncertainty that rolls in from beyond the Everfree Forest.

What secrets of old Equestria hide in the deep woods and upon the silent shore?

Dash gets angry at MDW and goes into a furious rage over how much she is being shown up.

Rainbow Dash was probably the most loyal pony in all of Equestria. She was not only a great Wonderbolt, but she was also a great marefriend. When she and Applejack first went on their date she had never looked at Applejack quite the same, and she knew immediately she was the perfect mare for her. Nothing could possibly go wrong for Dash. But when an old enemy from flight camp returns and joins up with an old enemy from Equestria's past, Rainbow Dash will have to face the danger that awaits her. But it's not the danger that scares her, and it's not the fact that all of Equestria might be in her hooves: what scares her the most is losing her marefriend.

This story is a sequel to A Monster in Ponyville

900 years ago, there is a magical door open from the Dimension X. The race of aliens called Kraang along with their greatest experiments known as Gorkan and Gisaku are come to conquer the New World that they had found, but failed. 900 years later, once again it is a time for the door to open for the invasion! It's up to the vigilantes that knew about them to stop this. But can they operate without being seen?

When the Elements of Harmony banished the Darkness from Nightmare Moon, they believed themselves to have garnered an absolute victory.
But as with all things in the universe, there must be balance. No Light with out Darkness, no Wrong without Right.
The Darkness has been biding its time in the one place in Equestria where magical Ley Lines converge, where all the residual magic and energy is coalesced in to a single point.
The Everfree Forest.
Now stronger than ever, the Darkness has found a new host, and seeks to exact its vengeance, and rain terror on all of Equestria.

After Rainbow Dash goes to investigate unusual weather, she encounters a pegasus with powerful weather manipulation abilities who calls himself the Storm Stallion. She then finds herself thrust into a quest to recover an ancient artifact with great power in order to save Ponyville and hopefully prevent her own death. To do so, she'll have to rely on help from her friends, some unexpected allies, and her own skills in order to triumph over evil and stop future events from becoming a reality.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack go looking for Rarity in the Everfree Forest, but Rarity isn't the only thing they'll find in there...
