Traveling to Applewood through the San Palomino desert, Trixie is sweaty and tired. The town she usually stopped at on her way through was missing, and she feared it had been abandoned. When she finally sees a town, it's not the one she remembered, being almost a fortress of sorts.
The town is seemingly abandoned, save for strange mirrors in every home. When she finds out what they're for, she also discovers the town isn't as abandoned as she first thought.

A pony wakes up to enjoy his 742nd day in Paradise.

He should be alright, though. As long as he doesn't resist the soothing voice inside his head.

Or any of the strings tied to him.

After getting their cutiemarks, the Cutie Mark Crusaders realize that the symbols on their flanks means something. That they are bound together forever, and the markings will not let them separate for even a moment.

Only death will do them part they think. But even then, will it?

A mail-mare has gone missing on a flight over the Everfree Forest and it is up to her co-worker to find her. The mail-pony, his brother, and an old ranger have set out to search for the missing mare. Little do they know of the forces that are at play in the deep, dark forest.
