This story is a sequel to Spirals and Spices

Bolt and Ruby take a short holiday to the beach to enjoy the cool water, warm sun and sweet drinks... But Ruby has another treat for Bolt to taste of her own creation.

This story takes place after the events of Spirals and Spices, if you didn't know they end up marrying, so yeah, spoilers.

It's Starlight Glimmer's first Nightmare Night in Ponyville, and she invites Trixie to go to a Haunted House attraction with her. As it turns out, Trixie is very very easily frightened. Almost too easily. Certainly it's not some silly excuse for the sideshow magician to cling to her very best friend... right?

"Terror strikes Ponyville as an undead ruler roams the streets! Its shops and houses lay abandoned at her moaning hooves, and only one brave soul can save it! Will she have the heart though?"

But as Twilight and Spike head home to settle in for a long night's rest, a sudden realization hits Twilight like a sack of hardcover books, leaving her utterly distraught and Spike as the only one capable of consoling her.

If he can, that is...

Unwilling to sleep in his own boring and less-than-comfortable bed, Spike presents Twilight with a deep and compelling argument as to why she should be his bed for the night.

Now with a huge burden of responsibility bestowed upon her, Twilight is depressed and unable to sleep. Getting up to assist Spike with his own issues, Twilight may find that she is the one in need of help.

Twilight finds a new potion that transforms her into a lamia. Not wanting to waste this opportunity for scientific advancement, she invites Fluttershy, animal expert to help her in her new form. Things get a little freaky when Twilight discovers that she has the power to mind control other ponies, things get intimate as Fluttershy and Twilight go on a magical journey filled with wonder and self-discovery.
