Luna hates herself, she hates the pony she's become, she hates how she hurts others, especially when it's her sister,and she's sick of the nightmares and the guilt, and she can't take it anymore. Will Luna do the unthinkable or will the pony she cares for the most stop her and remind her of how much she is loved.

Rated T for suicidal thoughts and a bit of gore but not much.

As the long days grow longer and the night grows ever farther, Luna close to her wits end has to over come her sadness and thoughts of death with harder to think about consequence for every move she makes. Not being to control herself she snaps under presser and does the unthinkable...

When Luna became Nightmare Moon, it was not of her own volition. She was sick. She was angry and scared, but mostly, she was sick. And when she needed help the most, she was abandoned by the only pony who could understand her fully. Now that she's back in Equestria, she doesn't feel she can trust her own sister. And if the magnanimous Princess Celestia can't be trusted, who can be?

Princess Luna, the Princess of the Night, and co-founder of Equestria, is going through a deep depression. She feels that she is responsible for most of Equestria's problems, and fears that she'll end up causing more in the future. To stop this from happening, Luna attempts to take her own life. But, the one pony who knows Luna better than anyone else attempts to change her mind.

Luna struggles with the edges of sanity and feelings of depression after her time of lunar isolation.

Princess Celestia, tired of the constant pressure that ruling a nation puts on her, decides to take a day off and let Luna take her responsibilities for a day, something the younger alicorn is more than happy to do. She disguises herself as a pink maned pegasus pony named Sunny Skies and decides to go walking around Canterlot without any supervision. Unfortunately for her, not all parts of Canterlot are as safe as the palace, and she finds herself at the wrong end of a gang of muggers, who decide to kidnap her for a ransom when they see how much money she has on her.

Luna freaks out.

Celestia thinks it's hilarious.

Celestia convinces her little sister to allow her preform a mind-delve spell casting her into a Canterlot in a veil of fog with unknown monsters. Fighting would be suicide so hiding is her only option if she wants to survive, as she discover her deepest fears and when she does, will she be able to face them?
