Applejack. Honest, hard working and true. Friendly to everypony and always willing to lend a hoof to those in need. This was the pony that the denizens of Ponyville knew so well. Who they trusted and relied upon. Who's stall they visit in the market, and who's family founded the town itself.

Hers has been a story of tragedy, grief and renewal.

That is the part of the story everypony knows. There is more to her tale, though. A dark secret she harbors from all but a few. A secret which could endanger her family, friends and everypony in Ponyville. . . .

Welcome everyone, to a story that popped into my head randomly while I was in the midst of a rant to myself! Inspired partially by stories like TDR's Twilight Gets a Puppy and Mister Friendly's The Irony of Applejack, this is my own take on the "Rewrite of the series, with a twist" story.

So, this is just a random idea I had for another Anthology series, a bit less comedic, a bit more dramatic and dark. Mostly, it was because I've been in a mood for watching old school mysteries lately, like Agatha Christie and, yes, Sherlock Holmes. It also occurred to me that, in spite of her being my absolute favorite villain from the series, and a character that I love, for the fact that her backstory is an open ended question, I had never written anything about Cozy Glow. I've had ideas, and still do! But, this is the first time I've ever sat down and gotten any of them to a point where I could actually publish it.

Note that this story takes place several years after Cozy was freed from stone sleep, and she is now an adult of around nineteen.

I cannot remember who drew the cover art, so if anyone knows, please tell me, so I can give credit!

Princess Celestia discovers who really held the fate of not only her Little Ponies, but the entirety of Equus, in his claws. . . .

She’s not entirely sure how to take it.

Tempest Shadow has come a long way since her days in the Storm King’s army, and helping her oldest friend, Glitter Drops on the frontier of the Frozen North has helped her find her place.

So what does she do when the one thing that ties her down, the one thing that reminds her who she really is, is in danger of being torn away? The only thing that her training and experience can allow.

She goes hunting.

Rose is a young filly in Cloudsdale, longing to grow up to be a Wonderbolt, the best unit of knights in Equestria. She goes to the tavern every night, and listens to the tales of glorious battle and heroic duels told by the bard. She dreams of saving the damsel, serving her lord, and being admired as the best knight in the lands.

So what does she do when she witnesses her first real duel?

This is just something short and simple I wanted to write, both playing on the trope of what people think a sword fight is, compared to the reality, and as a bit of a tie-in with a bigger universe and story that I’m working on. Hopefully you all like it!

After a brief glimpse of happiness, of thinking that perhaps she had found one who understood her pain and loneliness, Marble Pie now feels that she has lost everything.

It will take some wisdom from an unexpected source to set her right.

When Sugar Cube Corner closes down for Equestria’s Labor Day, the town’s newest resident, seventeen year old Pinkamena D. Pie, finds herself with nothing to do to entertain herself. After trying multiple avenues of fun and games, she comes to a dreadful realization:

A random bit of madness spawned as a bit of a challenge to myself. I wanted to write a good Pinkie Pie story, but I wanted to do it in a unique way. Given how much I’ve been enjoying writing Pony Plots, which is a first person perspective story, and that I’ve not seen any stories that are told from Pinkie’s perspective, I thought “Why not?”

Also, I couldn’t figure out who did the cover art, so unfortunately it is used without permission. However, if anyone can let me know who they are, so I can at least credit them, that would be awesome!

Oh, also, if this goes through, as of right now, it will be my first E rated story on the site!

Starlight and Twilight go out on the town in Canterlot. However, after a stop off in a local tavern, they encounter a rally of ponies in the street, protesting against the unfair treatment of earth ponies in the city.
At first, their talk of equal rights (rites?) intrigues Starlight. But what will happen when it becomes clear that these protesters do not practice what they preach?
A random idea I had when I thought about what might happen if the Queen of Equality, Starlight Glimmer, ran in to an Antifa protester.

Set directly after the events of “A Royal Problem”.

It's been ten years since the Storm King's attack and the founding of Twilight Sparkle's school of friendship.

Scootaloo finds herself part of a loving, caring adoptive family, but sometimes finds herself worrying that she doesn’t fit in, or isn’t capable of doing her part to earn their love. This lends her to taking up the position of store manager of her family’s newest shop, in Manehattan. However, she can’t work all by herself, now can she?

Enter Alexei Crofter, the only Human in Equestria.

My own little spin on the classic HiE story, avoiding all the "Anon" and second person perspective stuff which, while I don’t dislike, I can't write worth a damn.

NOTE: I originally intended to have this be a full length, as in multi-chapter, story, but I intentionally wrote the first chapter so that it could hold water as a stand alone story, in case my writer’s block got the best of me. Well, with this particular tale, that has happened . . . for now. I may yet continue this universe in future stories. But, for now, here it is. Consider it a small gift, I guess, to those who might care.

It has been three hundred years since Celestia banished her beloved sister to the moon, rather than end her life for her crimes as the Night Mare. Since then, the solar princess has been neither seen nor heard from.
In this time, a young Regent, Cadance, has taken the throne, but is too young to lead without advisers. The two stallions appointed the task, however, have other goals in mind. Behind their false smiles and pretty words, they both vie for control of the throne of Equestria.
Upon their advice, tensions between Equestria and the Changeling hive have become unstable, and raiding parties of the latter have begun attacking isolated pony villages along the borders. A small contingency of Equestria’s soldiers have been sent to patrol the border, and find themselves in battle with a large raiding party. Outnumbered and out positioned, all seems lost, until one young stallion takes it upon himself to try to end the fighting before anyone else can be killed. . . .

So, this is a short one shot set in an alt. universe that I am still doing world building on. The idea came to me while listening to some music today, and I had to at least start working on it. Hope you enjoy, and let me know if you think I need to improve anything!
