True Edge

"Bad things happen. There's never gonna be a time when everything's perfect, but that don't mean we stop tryin'!" - Applejack

T

Starlight and Twilight go out on the town in Canterlot. However, after a stop off in a local tavern, they encounter a rally of ponies in the street, protesting against the unfair treatment of earth ponies in the city.
At first, their talk of equal rights (rites?) intrigues Starlight. But what will happen when it becomes clear that these protesters do not practice what they preach?
A random idea I had when I thought about what might happen if the Queen of Equality, Starlight Glimmer, ran in to an Antifa protester.

I don’t think you understand antifa.

And a favorite for tackling a tricky subject.:pinkiehappy:

Look it up on YouTube. :raritywink:

I can only presume you haven't seen season 8 yet, or disagree about it.

I have seen up through episode 24. I don’t see what anything in the season so far has to do with this story, though. :rainbowhuh:

Because I refuse to watch anything associated with that, thing, on Youtube. What the hell is this all about? Cause I honestly don't get the real world horseshit this is based on.

I think it is anyway.

It's about idiots who like to make comments along the lines of "only white people can be racist", and will go to any lengths of ridiculousness to argue that point, no matter how much evidence to the contrary you present them with.

I can see you got a lot of dislikes from SJWs. I'll read this ASAP just because of that. Truthfully I never expected to see a based story like this on here, since the fandom tends to be pretty deep into lefty politics. Good work.

I'm actually fairly liberal myself, but am mostly apolitical. I don't agree with SJWs and people like that who want to talk about "Equality" while then being just as racist/hateful as the people they claim to hate.

I believe in real equality, meaning . . . exactly that. Everyone gets treated equally, regardless of race, gender, sex, sexuality, etc. Which is not what the majority of the SJW bunch actually preach, even if they claim to.

EDIT: I also get tired of people who are so stuck in their "Us vs. Them" mentality that they just assume that I'm part of the other side if I don't agree with them about something, or vice versa, that I'm on their side if I do agree with them about something.

Simply put, I'm on the side of being a decent godsdamned person, and not hating someone for some petty ass, pointless reason.

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately, if you don't want the insanity of what the SJW-types are doing, you're forced to vote for the right, since they've taken over the left. I considered myself a liberal pre-2014 or so before all this BS started, but now I'll vote conservative until it's over.

"Forced"? Not at all. I just don't vote. Helps that I don't believe in democracy . . . or, any form of modern government, really, so, yeah. :pinkiehappy:
