Gallus has always lived with the fact that he's an orphan, and that in Griffonstone you can't rely on others to help you out. Even orphans must fend for themselves.

But as the young griffon prepares to live another day of scraping by, his thoughts start to turn to his parents. He begins to wonder what they must think of him.

So Gallus sets out to become a griffon his parents can look down on with pride. And if he has to resort to methods that even Griffonstone frowns upon, so be it.

(Takes place within the universe of My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic; Stallion Edition, set before Chapter 217.)

Prince Shining Armor's coronation is drawing near. But recent events have him thinking back to a time shortly after he first gained his wings and became an alicorn.

Taking part in a royal summit held at the Crystal Empire, Shining Armor struggles to adapt to his new alicorn status. But that night a new problem presents itself when an unexpected intruder manages to steal his crown and get away.

Forced to pursue the thief through a magical mirror, Shining finds himself in a world unlike any he has seen before. A world populated by creatures called humans. And if he wants to gets his crown back, he'll have to deal with a particularly nasty human called Sunset Shimmer, the very thief he's sworn to apprehend.

(Semi-sequel to Storm Between Friends. It is encouraged but not required for you to read that first.)

Determined to make a name for himself and finally prove that he's not useless, Gallus decides to join Equestria's royal guard! A decision that shocks everyone! Since there's no rule against it and he's of the legal age to enroll, Gallus' decision is accepted.

Shining Armor soon decides that the newest recruit needs special training with a very special individual. Said individual turns out to be the royal guard's new task master: Commander Tempest Shadow. And Tempest has a reputation for being extremely tough on new recruits.

But maybe, just maybe, Gallus will not only survive her intense training but also come to learn something from her (and perhaps Tempest will learn something from him too).

Twilight Sparkle's quest to travel to the world beyond the mirror and retrieve her crown ended in failure, Sunset Shimmer managed to harness the power within said crown to defeat Twilight and conquer Equestria. She now rules over it with an iron hoof, controlling the sun and the moon.

But Sunset has begun to resent the way she is seen by others, especially when she has to also grapple with the constant strain of maintaining the illusion of harmony in Equestria. Desperately, she begins to search for a way to restore Equestria to its former, peaceful state.

Meanwhile, having narrowly survived her encounter with Sunset Shimmer's demon form, Twilight Sparkle faces her own struggles with getting back to Equestria. And even then she must grapple with the fact that it will not be as it was when she left.

This story is a sequel to Road to Family

With Starlight now having patched things up with her dad in front of Trixie, the subject turns to the matter of family for Trixie. Specifically Trixe's father, a subject that Trixie has noticeably avoided.

When pressed though, Trixie willingly confesses that her father is Jackpot and is a magician like her. A father that she has only vague memories of and has not been in contact with for years. As a result the bond between the two is strained.

Hoping to prevent her friend from going down the same path, Starlight convinces Trixie to write a letter to Jackpot. Though hesitant at first, Trixie reluctantly warms to the idea as a way to try and make peace with the impact of her father's departure from her life. But what will Trixie write, and is a letter going to be able to ease her pain?

"It is so hard to find a sitter with a sense of humor for Lil' Cheese." Pinkie never imagined just how much those words would come back to haunt her, but now they have. Called to Canterlot for the annual Council of Friendship meeting, she must leave her son behind.

As luck would have it, Cheese Sandwich is also unavailable to foalsit, as his "Cheesie Sense" is calling him back to Manehattan to plan a birthday party for one of his relatives. So now he and his wife have to find a foalsitter on short notice.

To the relief of both parents, a candidate soon steps forward despite her lack of experience in dealing with Lil' Cheese: Diamond Tiara. Can Diamond Tiara break the curse that has plagued so many other foalsitters for the child of Pinkie and Cheese? Or will Lil' Cheese prove to be too much even for her?

When the love wave from Princess Cadence and Shining Armor expels all the changelings from Canterlot, it has an unintentional side effect. One that no one could've seen coming.

Just before impact, Chrysalis hits herself on the head and the injury is sufficient enough to trigger a mental regression in her. To the surprise of her subjects she no longer refers to herself as queen, and acts more like a hatchling named "Chrysy".

Unfortunately for "Chrysy", her and her fellow changelings are stranded in Equestria with no way to get back to the hive. Forced to lay low, her subjects must also tend to their regressed queen and keep her safe. And all the while they search desperately for a way to get her back to her old self.

But how does one undo a mental regression? And more importantly, what if "Chrysy" doesn't want to change?

Mother's Day, a special day for mothers from all walks of life. And for a certain group of friends in Ponyville, it's about to get even more special!

Pinkie Pie is able to convince her friends to get all of their moms together for one great big Mother's Day celebration in Ponyville. And all five moms agree, despite the fact that only one of them is actually native to Ponyville.

However, as the preparations get under way and the big day arrives, there's a particular pony who isn't looking forward to the celebration or Mother's Day in general. It's an unexpected pony with an unusual family situation. Little does she suspect that this Mother's Day will change the way she approaches the holiday.

The news that Princess Cadence is having a baby came as a surprise to all but one mare, but now the secret is out and there's lots to discuss about it. Including the fact that Cadence is going to be a mom.

At a sleepover at Twilight's castle shortly after the big announcement, the girls all start to consider whether they might one day have families of their own. This kind of curiosity naturally gets them talking as each consider their own parental styles and restrictions or barriers to being a parent.

The resulting discussions may just reveal some things about themselves that the six mares have never known before. After all, no two mares approach the aspect of motherhood in quite the same way.

(Takes place sometime after "Rainbow Falls".)

The Wonderbolts have qualified for the Equestria Games and it seems like all is well. But that all changes when a newspaper begins to publish an account of what happened at Rainbow Falls while the qualifier was being held. Suddenly, the reputation of the Wonderbolts begins to take a nosedive.

Spitfire, now racked with guilt for the decision to cut Soarin from the team, decides that there's only one way to salvage the Wonderbolts' reputation and make things right. She announces her desire to resign and hoof the reigns to somepony, which shocks her entire team.

Rainbow Dash is equally shocked, and becomes determined to talk some sense into Spitfire. But is Spitfire in a mood to be reasoned with? Or perhaps it'll take something extreme to make her reconsider?
