Even the town of Appleloosa celebrates Hearth's Warming, and Braeburn thinks it's the best time of the year. Naturally, he can't resist talking about it when he writes letters to Little Strongheart of the buffalo tribe.

Little Strongheart soon becomes quite curious about this holiday, and decides to experience it for herself. To that end, she leaves her tribe and journeys into Appleloosa to spend the holiday with Braeburn, much to his surprise.

Still, Braeburn is delighted to play the host and show Little Strongheart how wonderful the holiday of Hearth's Warming can be. Will Little Strongheart come to enjoy and cherish the holiday as much as Braeburn?

(Slight spoilers for Chapter 5 of Make Your Mark. Takes place between "Mane Smelody" and "Nightmare on Mane Street".)

As a result of "The Mane Smelody Challenge", Mane Melody's reputation has taken a bit of a hit. A guilt ridden Pipp desperately searches for a way to restore it, and to hopefully redeem her own reputation in the process.

Eventually, Pipp learns that some of her youngest Pippsqueaks want to go on a field trip to Zephyr Heights, but they can't raise enough money for their school to hire chaperones. That gives Pipp an idea: She'll host a charity livestream at Mane Melody.

Rocky and Jazz are a bit hesitant to endorse another one of Pipp's ideas so soon after her last one failed. Can Pipp convince them, and by extension everypony else, that her social media influence can be a force for good?

Starswirl the Bearded has traveled all over Equestria since his return from limbo, and has also served as a teacher for many magically gifted students. But now the old wizard decides he needs a break, and so he travels to the Crystal Empire in the hopes of resting.

However, Mistmane soon calls upon her fellow pillar to ask for his help with a most difficult task: Controlling and containing the magical abilities of the young princess Flurry Heart. Not one to ignore a request from an ally, Starswirl accepts.

Starswil is fairly confident in his knowledges of alicorns due to his past experiences, he doesn't expect too much trouble. But he and Mistmane will soon be surprised by how powerful one little foal can be on her own.

Flurry Heart wakes up one night and realizes she has to go potty. Fortunately, she's quite capable of doing it herself. And so, she heads to the bathroom to do just that.

After a successful trip to the potty, Flurry decides to have a little bit of fun in the bathroom and flush some things down the toilet. The fun all goes wrong, however, when the princess falls into the toilet as it then flushes!

Before she knows it, the young crystal princess is being flushed down the drain! What will happen to her then? Read on and find out.

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic What If?: Volume 16

Make Your Mark is slated to end soon and G5 seems to be continuing solely with Tell Your Tale, but there's still lots of unexplored areas of G4 to look into. It's that time again, time for that series which dares to ask and seeks to answer that fateful question "What if that episode had been written differently?"

There's only ten episodes to cover for this volume, and every season but Seasons 3, 7, and 8 will have at least one episode covered. Season 4, however, will get the lion's share, including two redos from earlier volumes.

By now I really don't need to say it, but I'm saying it anyway just to be safe: The episodes rewritten are based on my personal opinion so please respect it. Don't get offended if an episode you liked is on the list here, or an episode you didn't like isn't on this list. I'll gladly respect your opinions if you respect mine.

Despite Equestria appearing to enter a new era of profound peace, Starlight Glimmer decides that the students at her school should be taught how to defend themselves. To that end, she establishes a self-defense class.

Deciding it easier to teach by demonstration, Starlight tries to find a volunteer to spar with her. But nopony within the school is willing to go hoof to hoof with her, not even her closest friends.

Fortunately, a savior comes in the most unexpected and unlikely of places. Tempest Shadow, no stranger to combat herself, shows up and offers to oppose Starlight for the sake of the demonstration. Who will prevail in this clash between powerful unicorns?

Misty has more or less settled into life in Maretime Bay with her new friends, she's even changed her mane style to reflect her new outlook on life. Things are looking up for her.

That is, until Misty begins to wonder about her past, about who she was before she was taken in by Opaline. It's a mystery that won't leave her alone no matter what.

Thus, the unicorn decides to do some research in Bridlewood, hoping to find out where she came from and who she used to be. Zipp and Izzy go with her to help, and together the friends will uncover something that will change Misty's life forever!

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle have made a new friend in the form of fellow blank flank Apple Bloom. Naturally, the friends have decided to have a sleepover, and Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom want it to be at Scootaloo's house.

Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, especially since Sweetie Belle's already been there. However, Scootaloo's parents have been called out of town, so she's been left in the care of her Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty. And Scootaloo is a bit hesitant to introduce her new friends to the aunts.

But Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle persist, so it seems Scootaloo has no choice but to oblige. It means her aunts will get a chance to meet her new friends personally.

Pinkie Pie gets fed up with having to change the diapers of Pound and Pumpkin Cake, so she decides there's only one thing to do: She'll have to potty train them. It doesn't matter to her that the twins may not be ready yet.

At first, it seems to go well. But when Pinkie decides she needs to leave the twins alone to go potty, she unintentionally sets things up to go horribly wrong.

How wrong, you ask? Well, wrong enough for the twins to accidentally flush themselves down the drain! A horrified Pinkie must now find a way to rescue the baby Cakes before anypony finds out what's happened!

While still adjusting to life at the Crystal Brighthouse with her new friends, Misty accidentally makes a very interesting discovery in an old broom closet. It's Senor Butterscotch, a fake unicorn that Izzy made long ago.

Naturally, Misty's curiosity gets the better of her, especially since she has her own fake friend. She decides to ask her fellow unicorn why she made Senor Butterscotch.

Izzy is more than happy to tell the tale of how Senor Butterscotch came to be. But it's a lot sadder than Misty might be expecting.
