What I enjoy most is the way how you handled the MC. In the beginning you had someone who was (or seemed..) blatantly overpowered.
You managed to mould Arty into someone that has to step up his game pretty soon, he would clearly struggle on his own against the upcoming threat whom seems to be even more powerful than Arty himself.
I think its not very common for a story to hold the readers interest for an amount of words whom will soon surpass 3/4 of a million.
It's that kind of improvement that makes a story truly enjoyable.
