As a Wonderbolt, Rainbow Dash has an image to maintain. So when she claims to have a boyfriend in the form of a pony named Macintosh, and everypony believes her, the only option for her is to make it true.

They also have to play harder music, but that's not what this story is about. This story is about an introverted DJ with an extreme alter-ego who is looking to catch the eye of a famous cellist, a lyrist trying to win over a candy maker at the mall, and something about how love is never easy or straight-forward.

Partially inspired by this story.

"Mama? Where did I come from?"
The simple question from her daughter sends Applejack reeling. She knows the answer, of course; but she doesn't really want to share it. Luckily, she's got some... other answers as to how this little filly came into her and Rainbow Dash's life. Completely true? No; but definitely entertaining.

After Applejack's aunt and uncle are killed by muggers, Applejack and Rainbow Dash return to Manehattan and revive the Mysterious Mare-do-well to help clean up the city.
Of course, gangsters won't be the only thing they'll end up fighting. Oh, no. That would be too simple.

Applejack is a hard-working earth pony. Luna is the princess of the night. It started out as a chance meeting late at night in the orchards of Sweet Apple Acres, but it ended up as so much more.
