TheExhaustedBrony

I wish I could just finish all the half-done stories I've got backlogged.

Three years ago, Spitfire finally recognized her number one fan's potential, she asked her to join the Wonderbolts as a member of the team. When it came time to perform, despite the doing the routine countless times, something went wrong and Spitfire's newest Wonderbolt lost her life.

I tried my best to make myself appear as open, genuine, and trustworthy as I can, and I failed.

I like it. :pinkiehappy:
Any chance of a sequel?

3256573 thanks, glad you enjoyed it. As for a sequel however, I don't see one being made anytime soon. His was submitted for the 31shotober challenge and its supposed to be a one shot. Maybe after the challenge is over, I might think about it.

I was hoping for a detailed story of the accident from herpoint of view... But I do like how this story comes from her physician's point-of-view. Trauma is dealt with differently by people and this was an unfortunate case that ended rather depressingly... Good read

Finally got around to reading this. I was pleasantly surprised by this story. It was pretty damn good in a variety of ways. I like the sort of openness of who the character was that died. I'm sure many Wonderbolt hopefuls idolize Spitfire, so that doesn't specifically make it Dash. I would love to see a sort of prequel: a story of the incident in itself, and a sequel that maybe has another consultation with the physician and a possible visit to the grave-site of the fallen mare. I really hope that you decide to expand upon this little world that you have just created once you are finished with One-Shotober. I'll be looking forward to reading more by you in the future. Keep up the great writing!

3278427 thank you so much! Yes, once the challenge is over, I will definitely consider going back to all the stories I wrote and possibly expanding them.

That's good to hear. I feel like you were trying to depict that it was Dash that died, but do you think it would be equally as prosperous to you if you were to vaguely describe the character that died; leaving the possibilities as to who it is very widely open?
