This story is a sequel to Apple Breaking: RotE Episode 3
Fluttershy has a new hat. Rarity hates it. She tries to simply ask her to remove it, but oddly Fluttershy will not budge on this. Rarity then enlists Pinkie's help to remove the hat regardless of Fluttershy's wishes. As attempt after attempt fail she eventually realizes the truth. The hat is pure evil and must be destroyed.

This was a very strange story... I hope that someday soon these will all tie together coherently somehow. (Just my opinion, for what it's worth)
Blinkie isn't crazy, at least not in the traditional sense of the word. She's just got a very different way at looking at the world, social norms and the like. I'm more worried why she needs that amount of large-scale laser light. You see, because SCIENCE! always comes first for her, it is possible that she wouldn't realise that building a weapon capable of vaporising a house is a bad idea, even if she's only doing it to create a long-range communication system.
I'm so very, very sorry Fluttershy, but 'different' is something that you are just going to have to get used to. You are becoming a goddess, after all!
Still... Yes, enjoy the last of your normal lives, girls. I've got a feeling that, before too long, you'll have ponies genuflecting to you in the streets. I just hope that their families remain true and open to them or it's going to get unbearable.
