Originally the reveal at the end was going to be them deciding to name the baby 'Serendipity.' (An origin story they'll never want to hear.)
100% the reason why this ship never had a chance in the show (or MarbleMac for that matter). Look at how much trouble Mac had trying to hook up with Sugar Belle, a mare that isn't shy or lacking in confidence.
This was cute at least.

I noticed that the show shied away(heh) from main character ships.While I personally liked FlutterMac, I always felt like the creators thought Fluttershy was too good for Mac, at least that's what I thought.Also, did they pair Mac with Sugar to avoid the whole "cousins" thing with Marble?
Anyway, pretty interesting story.I can't stand awkwardness in real life, but I find it charming in stories and this didn't disappoint.I also liked the brief comedy moments, they really completed the story.
