I'm with Pheonix on this one. This really was quite wholesome, and I loved how they interacted. It really does have this nice flow about it how they interact that really does feel like they've been together for some time now.
If I may add, this surprisingly struck me in a way I didn't expect, especially from a story about two ponies. The whole thing about where they are now and what they have, and what they could have once it was time to move forward, kinda hit a chord with me, and it was rather pleasant to actually read that. So huge kudos to you for doing that in this story!
