Wow this is completely different from your usual HiE fics and it has me hooked! I would say I hope things don't get as bad as Celestia fears, but given the Violence and Death tags, I fear Anon is going to have a very bad time in Equestria.

I'm guessing a human came before and was a POS or wasn't all tha nice to ponies. Maybe we can expect that the human was a villain of some kind to Celestias eyes and was promptly stomped out after the princess figured out how harmful humans are to her ponies 🤔
The dawww in this chapter is unrivaled. Twilight is like a mother figure for Anon, and as sad as it is that he wants to go home but can’t yet, I can’t help smiling at how Twilight and the Elements are there for him.
But on the other hood, er hand? CELESTIA, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHAT HAS THIS CHILD DONE TO YOU?! *protective mode enabled* (Something tells me she had to have some bad experience with humans before, or there is something else going on. Assuming it even is her, which I doubt.)
Okay, this has to be the explanation. Celestia was secretly a changeling the whole time because there is no way the Celestia we know would act like this to a fucking child man, especially one that’s been so well adjusted for a few months now. The changeling part does put up a few red flags, but maybe that was just instinct coming in, and that’s what Celestia fears.
Actually, this whole ‘human is dangerous’ thing reminds me of that one Anon mlp comic, with Marble Pie and magic and whatnot. Can’t remember the name, and I can't help but think that was part of the inspiration behind this.
Some people are speculating that Celestia is a changeling or an imposter, but I don't think that's it, because she has been sending and receiving letters through Spike, and I doubt an imposter could just replicate a connection like that.
My theory is that a long time ago she and Luna had a bad run in with a human(s) and it nearly destroyed Equestria, so it made her think that all humans are evil, even children. You may argue that Celestia is too kind and wise to be so narrow minded, but my argument is that it probably happened in her early years of ruling, when she was still young and the event left a lasting impression on her young mind. And even though she's immortal, she's still a pony, a pony who has a responsibility to protect her nation and little ponies and deal with anything that may be a threat, whether it intends to or not. Like she told Twilight, he's a ticking time bomb, and only Celestia knows what will happen when he's exposed to too much magic, maybe he will be corrupted and transform into an evil creature similar to Sombra that would give the sisters the fight of their lives.
In the end, I think Celestia doesn't realize she made a mistake in putting Anon in Twilight's care and letting him grow up with the Elements. After months together they've all grown fond of him, and if Celestia's fear comes true and a catastrophic event happens, Celestia will want to kill him, but the Elements, even her "faithful student", will defy her, wanting to find another way to save the boy they've come to love as family.

this is what i think as well. there was a fic called normal(from what i can remember) about a human popping up in equestria that she tried to have the world turn him into the most normal pony ever because of a group of super fetish human masters (the fic was a clop fic with a real plot) did horid stuff to her and her ponies turning them into generic sex tools for there enjoyment. this might be the same thing eather going to lust or murder,whitch to be fair most of humanity would choose murder if they popped up in there world.

Anon, a human who can't use magic, created a pocket dimension that the most brilliant of mages could only theorize for centuries, and yet Anon did what they could not when he was just a teenager. This is probably the kind of stuff Celestia told Twilight to watch out for, and Celestia will believe her fear is justified.

Not sure if you know much about dark souls , but if you do you'll remember Solaire, who's whole shebang is "praise the sun " . I'm imagining a AU where he visits Equestria through some means, finds out Celestia exists and comedically goes absolutely nuts/bonkers, and she has to deal with it haha.

Hmmm… this latest chapter. I think it’s obvious Runic is alluding to something by saying “it’s been years, he’ll be alright”, but Celestia wasn’t being a dickhead to him for a reason. Despite her shitty attitude, she’s gotta have a valid reason for wanting him gone, or worse. I can only hope for the best, despite the death and sad tags.
Also, question Runic: how does it feel writing Celestia like this, so differently than the Royal-Tea series and other stories? Does it feel like betrayal at all?

I can't help but feel like the Sisters knowing exactly what's going to happen and refusing to elaborate even an iota of information on the given human situation is only hastening whatever it is they explicitly don't want to happen. You know, preemptive knowledge would have worked wonders to probably help stall or maybe even completely stop whatever's bound to happen. Especially if the kid's just gonna die anyways, why make his life miserable if you know how it's gonna end? Kind of feels like cruelty for the sake of cruelty at this point. Unless of course emotional attachments worsen whatever's going on, in which case, it must suck to have no option other than cruelty.

With every story there is good and bad characters.
But this video gives me the theory that became a fact.
Too late to realize that, Anon is family now, which will make turning Twilight and the Elements against him very difficult.

We're finally going to learn the truth. It's only been like 2 days since this fic started but with all the tension and hostility it's felt like ages!
I guess this confirms Celestia and Luna definitely have met and dealt with humans in the past. And from what happened, their opinion on them did not change.
So that's what Celestia meant in ticking time bomb, the magic making him go berserk. It also explains the sisters' hatred of humans. But it seems Anon was born with a resistance to magic unlike the other humans, so maybe he was never a potential threat, at least I hope.
But it's comforting to know that even after knowing the truth, Twilight and Starlight will still stand by his side.
Seems we're getting to the climax of the story next chapter.

Add on that Equestria was the Human's land that the ponies migrated to and the humans welcomed them with open arms, only for the ponies to fuck things up with their magic and then practically kicked them off their land.
Like evolution the higher species clears off the the races of others that can't be cured.
And the grudge that Celestia has been holding on to for such a long time ago. But for Luna she still has some of her mother's spirit, hopefully that will be enough.
Okay. Man, that was a bit to take in. So, now we have very, very good reason why Celestia acts the way she does. Honestly, in this story, I can't blame her at all. That was barbaric and traumatizing.
Now we know they were trapped in an alternate dimension. With that same octahedron or whatever thing. The same exact one Anon just destroyed.
I literally cannot wait. I have been checking this story every few minutes today for the next chapter. God I have such a horrific feeling in my gut, I just hope we end on a happier or hopeful note. The tags are not helping, the cryptic warnings are not helping, and dammit Runic you're not helping!
