The game of Beyblade is more than proving who is stronger. It's a game of will, courage, guts, and more importantly, heart. Only those that are willing to give it there all will be able to seek what they're looking for. The title as the "Greatest Blade in the World" is one that many strive for. And now... a whole new generation is looking to cement their legacy and leave their mark on the game. Worlds collide and worlds will unite. The question remains: Do you have want it takes?

Wow its a great story, i like it so much, the way you write the characters, its amazing, and Spike is a human, nice.

Looking foward to see more.

PS I also write a Beyblade fanfic.

Thanks for the kind words. Hope you'll like what I have to offer.

Well the spirits of the beys will come to life.

I enjoyed this first chapter. I quite like you properly integrated the MLP characters into the beyblade universe. Though, a little gripe, I think Twilight is a little OOC(Out of character) here. I do see how Twilight would not be originally interested, but I don't think she would be as reactive as she is here. Twilight probably would be somewhat bothered, but I think it's a little too mean for Twilight to be berating a game her brothers enjoy, even without character development. Mostly bothers me because another crossover fic went really far into this "Twilight hates the new thing from the crossover", so I'm a little concerned about that becoming a trend.

Other than that, Great start! Quite a nice first fic(If I'm not incorrect.) I'd like to see more of this! Have a good day.

...and oh Twilight, judging from all crossover fanfics I've seen, you don't know what's coming.

Thanks for the kind words. I will say, Twilight not being a fan of beyblade is moreso to show that she doesn't fully understand what makes the game so special. What I was going for is what was hinted at the end, and that is maybe it requires someone to show for her to fully grasp the concept of the game.

Ah, yeah! This is really great so far!
Honestly, it's just a nitpick of mines, I probably would be more forgiving if I hadn't read a certain spiderman fic earlier. I can see what you was going for! Just a little too extreme for me, personally. It does get the point across though.

Have a good day and I hope you do well! I'll continue to read this as it gets updated!

(I wonder what would Rainbow Dash's, Applejack's, Rarity's, Fluttershy's and Pinkie Pie's bey would look like. That is, if they have beyblades.)

This was cool and I'm interested in where it goes, but I'm a bit confused on which generation this is based off of. The description of Shining Armor's bey sounds like the original series but the way the battle starts and them saying "ring-out finish" makes me think of Burst. I just want to make sure I'm picturing the right beys.

11418443
Well, for me, I've only ever seen the "Burst" series. So that's the one I'm sticking with.

Pretty sweet.

And glad Spike is human here instead of a dog.
I wonder what will he get to do here?

So are the Beys are from the Metal Saga or the Burst Saga?

11418739
I've only ever seen the Burst Saga. So that's the one I'm sticking with.

Spike did pretty good in his first two on-screen battles so far

Soon or later Twilight will learn to appreciate Beyblade Battles

Damn, that was brutal, after training so much, Spike suffered a horrible humiliation, I just hope he uses those losses as motivation to be stronger and beat Emerald.

And it seems that Twilight has at least begun to appreciate the beyblade.

11419998
That's gonna be a hard goal to accomplish for sure, especially cause Emerald is the "main lead" of this story. But it's also a reminder that reality has a way of slapping us in the face when we think we're invincible.

11419999
Yes, metaphorically speaking, sometimes when we think we are big fish, it turns out that we were just big fish in a small pond and when we go out to sea, we see bigger fish, at least Spike learned it now, as for me unfortunately I learned it when playing in my first beyblade tournament (and the only one because no other has been done in my city)

And it was a complete defeat, it felt like I had been hit by a train (again, metaphorically speaking, I have never been hit by a train)

Really bummed seeing Spike lose that badly.
But seeing him really getting humiliated like that and what Emerald said to him really just hurts.
And Twilight thinking Spike will "brush it off/get over it" makes it even worse

About what Emerald said to Spike
I get that Spike was getting too overconfident but what Emerald said to him was just going overboard and downright cruel(and really blowing stuff out of proportion).
Emerald needs to face consequences for that and get called out on that.
I just hope that Spike gets to even the score with him good.

As for other events, it seems that Emerald is fitting right in at the new school.
And now Twilight seems to now understand what is so big about Beyblade

11432173
No, it's not. Just taking some time to properly write out the chapters before I post them. It's not easy as people assume that we can just write stuff on a page and it comes to us. It takes time. All I ask is for you to be patient.

Didn't she have other people she could ask? I mean, doesn't she hang out with that one boy? What was his name again? The one that almost everyone at school agrees is the favorite to win the district tournament. Flash something, if he could guess. Why didn't she go to him? I'm sure he would have agreed to teach no sweat and have a much easier time than she would have had with him.

Yeah i was thinking that too.

Anyway, it was a cool episode because now I see Emerald hasnt that intentions when he told that things to Spike, i hope he gets stronger when the tournament starts.

I see Spike is slowly recovering from that loss. Velvet is a sweet mother there.
Though the other damage from that battle which is Emerald calling him a disgrace to the game needs to be addressed.

"Again, let me be clear. When we battled, I didn't mean to upset him or make him think he was inferior. I gave him a life lesson on reality. The world is cruel; what I said to Spike was more like a slap on the wrist. The world will be much harsher than what I said. Because we live in a world where most people don't care about your feelings." stated Emerald.

Emerald, you went overboard and blew things out of proportions.
I get that Spike was overconfident but calling him a disgrace is unjustified and overkill.
Emerald still needs to be called out on that.

This chapter was pretty good. Maybe a bit too battle heavy, but good.

also, I can relate to the struggles of finding inspiration lol

A great chapter, Twi finally has her beyblade, how will Spike and Flash react?

I know that Emerald is someone mysterious, but he has a good heart, although he treated Twi differently, with her he was a little softer while with Spike he was brutally honest.

I'll wait patiently for the tournament, I'm sure it will be great, and I hope Spike trains hard so he can show Emerald how powerful he's become.

At that moment, Spike's fork dropped to the floor. The two females looked at the boy, who bent down to pick up his utensil.

I know is late to write this comment, but i still write it.

Twi should talk with Spike about it, I bet in this moment he is feeling betrayed, his big sister working with the blader that humilated him, oh well, maybe they can fix that in a beybattle.

The girl was looking at the machine as the person at it was holding the gun to the screen as they were firing at the enemies that popped up as their score went up.

Question, is this game based on a specific light gun game, or is it just a generic light gun game?

11488838
Just a generic gun game that you point at the screen and shoot.

11488845
Noted. Would've liked the scene more if the game was a reference to Time Crisis, but it is what it is.

Yeah, youre back, and Im excited for the tournament. Hope Twi can get good wins, but its too soon for her to win it.
Emerald is the MC so he could win, but he had to beat Flash.
Unless someone else beat Flash and fights with Emerald in the finals, and Im guessing a young boy who needs his rematch, wink, wink:moustache:

"So you managed to put your bey back together, huh?" Emerald smirked, seeing that the kid found all the pieces of his companion when he scattered them. "Look, kid; I get it. Nobody likes to lose. But this is neither the time nor the place for us to do this. You say you're stronger. Prove it. Prove it at the tournament. We'll see if you actually learned a thing or two."

Is it me, or does Emerald have something against Spike? Because he is nice to the CMCs but with Spike he seems to look down on him.

And I bet Spike become stronger, if Emerald continues to underestimate him, I bet hes gonna have a surprise.

"Thanks," said Emerald as he saw Spike turn to go with his friends. Soon he let out one thing, "I did mean one thing after our battle. As good as you are, Spike. There will always be someone better than you ."

I hope Spike beat him, or atleast I hope Spike beat Twilight and fight Emerald in the finals.

Its pretty disappointing Spike has such a weak launch power(and losing to Button Mash on that bit who surpassed the other 4 in the group is a bit embarrassing)
That does not look good for him.

Time passed, and Twilight had crumpled balls of paper littered all over her room. The girl was starting to go insane at how her eyes twitched, and her hair was getting frizzled, as evidenced by her bangs. Her face was planted on her desk as she banged it up and down.

Nothing. No ideas. Useless! Empty! Brain!

I wonder if Spike will have Resonance and can connect/communicate with his Bey just how Emerald and Twilight connect with theirs?

Aw crud
The author is gone

Looks like this fic is not gonna continue then..
I was hoping to see what happens next
