Look, I'm not actually against revenge/revengeance plots and stories of our protagonist/MC. I like those kinds of things. But, forcing the ponies to be unrealistically being OOC cruel as the "cause" itself is the offensive problem to me.
I seen this same author/writer "tactic" happened over 50 times from other stories. And that's why I have a poor taste on seeing either Celestia or the Mane Six to being OOC cruel b****** against the protagonist/main character, as a dumb unoriginal excuse for a revenge plot.
You have to do a bit better than that.
