What mere monster of the Everfree could have brought TWILIGHT SPARKLE to this state? And how could Luna have left her for dead?
In their own way, all the alicorns have determination. Nice story.
This feels like the last chapter of a longer tale. It could use a bit more background to set the scene for Twilight setting out and failing to return, and the following vigil and eventual acceptance of her death. Still, what's there is a good snapshot of Luna working her way through the mourning process, and the interruptions thereof by everypony she comes across.
Still, one thing bothers me: How the heck do quadrupeds do the Limbo?
