It's definitely not bad, I can say very little about the overall plot because things have just started, but I can say that I have almost no issues with the prose and none with the premise. The Achilles' heel of this is the high number of little mistakes scattered around the entire page, everyone makes those and the good news is that they're easy to fix once you spot them. I suggest you use one of the many free editors available online, they will help catch that sort of thing.
