Sebastian Debeste was just a regular, young 21 year old who just passed his bar exam and got his prosecutors badge, he was ready to start his career and move on from his past, expecting his first few cases to be standard and normal.
Ya , nope. Fate has other plans.
Sebastian now has to deal with the fact that He was now the caretaker of A magic Pegasus named Cozy glow (the rook) who he somehow freed from stone while investigating a murder
Things only get more chaotic from there

Whoever paid 1 mil for her will be the big bad behind the whole story , so the reveal is gonna be big, (At lease I plan it to be big)
We are literally talking about Ace Attorney, the game with spirit channeling that summons the dead, magic gems that allow you to see lies, bracelets that gives you super vision that lets you see the slightest twitch or movements, super sensitive hearing emotions and a country whose court has a séance that allows you to see the final memories of the dead. At this point, after seeing so many ridiculous things, these officers just have enough drama at this point.
Keep in mind, that Maya publicly exorcised a ghost from her body on trial. And there's a picture of Mia in prison after she already died (in Reunion and Turnabout). So there's proof that paranormal stuff is real.
I want to see Cozy use her wit to assist Sebastian in this and future trials.
Speaking of the upcoming prosecutor, good to see he has a knack at his job. Edgeworth taught him well. I thought he was a bit of a pushover in the earlier chapter, but no, he has quite the edge in his words.
Man, Aaron got owned so hard. Did Sebastian just kind of take Cozy home with him? Was there no legal issue involving her given that she's essentially an alien who was a statue owned by the park?

This was planned to be revealed later in part 2-1 of the story , but there is no harm in revealing it early so I might as well tell you now since you asked:
1) Everything you saw was during the investigations, during the actual trial some details were misinterpreted or were left out. Basically, Sakurai inc managers ended up thinking the thief of the statue was successful. That the plan was Aaron would chisel out the statue and Emmie was the get away driver who was suppose to help carry it. They ended up thinking he managed to sell the statue already and just decided to ask Hazel Art Emporium to make another one.
2) Sebastian did hesitate on what he should do with Cozy , but ended up choosing to let her stay at his apartment , as given she's an alien, the only other option was leaving her behind, ( What would the police do if you came to their station and said you have a magic talking pony, how would they help?) And let's be real here, would Sebastian be the type of prosecutor to leave a young child behind, even if said child was an alien.

1) If you played AAI2 then you know that Sebastian wants to improve and learn, to be his own person in life and to be strong and independent as a prosecutor, and Edgeworth certainly taught him how to not break under stress.
2) Both, Cozy will tag along with Sebastian under a disguise
3) The guy who ask Aaron to steal Cozy will be revealed soon enough , also no he didn't know who he was stealing

Well, I think the Charm is to stop Cozy from lying to Sebastian all the time.
So NMM separated from Luna, got teleported to the Ace Attorney universe and stopped being evil then? I do wonder how much of her powers remained in this universe. It would be rather scary if she could still move the moon. I also wonder if there are other ponies that got trapped in this world.
I think the eventual interrogation with Cozy will be quite intense. Even Sebestian will have a hard time getting the truth out from that filly.

Cute chapter at parts, although I wonder if those bruises came from the final fight in the show or form something way beforehand. Either way, it will be interesting when Sebestian finally figures out why Cozy was a statue. I think that having Edgeworth and a few of Sebestian's friends find out about Cozy may not necessarily be a horrible thing. Cozy could use more people to interact with.

Liking the details on the mansion. Did you come up with this mystery yourself or is this from one of the Ace Attorney games? At this rate, I may want to try them out for myself. Also, it's kind of funny how well Cozy can keep herself from being detected with such a simple disguise.

I liked how Aubrey got ousted and her reasoning for trying to commit a crime and I was not expecting Mia to be the real thief. Speaking of Mia, I wonder how she knows about Cozy.

I did not expect the lock interrogation thing to happen so early with Cozy. I was surprised by how easily she gave up and how she had what I guess was a surprise second phase. Both she and Sebastian got to show of their smarts big time here and it was nice to to see Sebastian piece together everything he knew about Cozy. That filly certainly needs some help.
I still wonder how Mari knew so much though.
