From his perspective maybe. From the perspective of literally everyone else, he’s a spoiled brat. As well, Rarity wasn’t being a power-hungry gold digger, she was just trying to be nice. He had no reason to treat her like garbage. Even if he thought she was out for his money, he could’ve just excused himself from her company to begin with. And even if he didn’t like Rarity he still treated everyone terribly. So that’s the interpretation I’m going with, as I still don’t see any canonical reason to contradict it.

She wasn't nice, she was over-eager and clingy. She didn't even asked him anything or were interested in what he liked, if they even had anything in common. From the very start she seen in him nothing but status (see ticket master and how she treated Twilight just because she said that she were from Canterlot in first episode). When and where he treated anyone terribly but her?

Okay, I guess “nice” admittedly wasn’t the best word there, but there was still the difference of Rarity being civil and respectful compared to Blueblood being a jackass. He shoved her in front of a cake to protect himself, and complained about a tiny speck when she was drenched. That’s not gender equality, that’s him being selfish. And in regards to others, he still treated everyone like they were beneath him just because he was royalty. His royal grooming, declaring Applejack's food bad just because it was "uncivilized", he clearly still cared more about his class and status. He insisted Rarity buy him food, that he immediately spat out and insulted just because it wasn’t to his exact taste. If he didn’t like it, he could’ve just not bought it. So he clearly doesn’t care about anyone else. But more importantly, this is all just speculation. A character’s one appearance in a single episode is not enough to base an entire personality off of. Your and mine interpretations might be different, and that’s fine.

Exactly what I'm saying - too little information to write him as noble or jackass. From unbiased perspective (our is biased because we love mane six) his attitude towards Rarity was cruel but justified.
