It has been a hundred years since Equestria has registered with the Cornerian Army. During that time technology on Equestria has increased at an astronomical pace. New buildings, new vehicles and new species now walk with ponies.

But along with the new technology comes a promise. A promise for those who wish to leave Equestria and travel to the stars beyond. To explore the vastness of space and protect it from those that seek to do it harm.

Slipstream is the first of two ponies from Equestria to join the ranks of the Cornerian pilots. So she will be the first to see that the heavens are far more dangerous than any would have believed. That it is a place of criminals, thieves...and mercenaries.

And the adventure begins. I see you are using two OC’s here so it will be interesting to see how the world has changed under Twilight and how the galaxy has changed by meeting the ponies.

Yeah, something new for the new frontier

I've always loved the Sci fi genre, so I'm definitely liking this so far, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the good work.

I wonder if we could potentially see humans somewhere out there, it is a big universe after all.

Considering a character that looks like James McCloud shows up as a racer in F-Zero, I can believe that at least F-Zero and Starfox take place in different galaxies in the same universe

Oh-ho-ho! Oh yes. Now here's a story I know I'm going to especially enjoy reading. An onomnopia crossover of Star Fox. Popular one of my favorite game series on the Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64. :pinkiecrazy::pinkiehappy::yay:

I was thinking of a more Sci fi approach with humanity where they could potentially be another species that resides in their own sector of the universe. Maybe they could even have a bit of a backstory with the Cornerians, since they are an anthropomorphic dog species. But that's just me, I like to go all in with ideas.

And I am definitely cool with Starfox.

Edit: I have gained more knowledge on the Cornerian army, and realized that I referred to them as a species. :facehoof:

I see someone is cribbing a vessel design from the Borg. At least this enemy isn’t the Borg, I hope.

I really hope that Sombra isn't in this story, you have used him to much.

He always comes back.:trollestia:

How many times has he kicked the can in your stories now? Has to be close to 10 at least.

I have killed and brought back Sombra so many times that it's become a running joke in canon as well as fanon. And of he comes back in Gen 5 like some toys are saying I'm going to be convinced Sombra is eternal.

It's Star Fox not StarFox, two words not one. Also, you wrote Fox's name wrong: "Slipstream, right? You're one of Equestria's first space pilots?" Fix asked her,

I think Slipstream and Falco will be more then good friends. I hope they will be ready for the coming battles.

Slipstream got some good intel it looks like. Now I wonder how Wolf will be convinced to be helpful and not a complete jerk.

Star Fox is still two words.

"Well way to say it out loud and make it awkward for everyone!" Falco said in mock disgust as he threw his hands up. "Look at poor Slippy, you've scared him for life."

Oh, Falco. Never change, you lovable douchebag, you.

Do a barrel roll.

I see you added that iconic line and used it the best way possible. Now how will that get a call back and save someone?

Now I know I said back in my post last October that it would be the last you ever heard of me…. but I’m breaking that rule to ask what’s up with your stories as of now. Also, are you ok? You’re kind of worrying a good amount of people by disappearing for at least a year. Having done that several times with my own projects because of burnout, I can kind of understand if things are becoming overwhelming.

Ok, now this is going to be the last time I ever talk to you.

In some ways, I’m sorry for the petty crap I had with you about an almost 10 year old fanfiction and in other ways, I’m not.

But I was able to post my response piece and the fact that you haven’t had it taken down or even responded about it is good enough in my book. I said what I wanted to say, and there’s really nothing left to say as far as I’m concerned.

My only further advice to you going forward if you choose to ever take up writing again is to let people write what they want to write. Because they may just surprise you with what they have to say.

Take care of yourself, Ono.
