this is pure bullshit!
This story is Just rushing things and the idea would be good, but too drastic... It's not even contagious (for example AJ tried to hold down AB first time and didn't catch it)....
6837128 Yes I know I just needed a problem and in the episode there was an outbreak a long time ago so I needed a reason for there to be an outbreak and problem other than i just randomly appearing on ponies and randomly disappearing because otherwise it wouldn't be a deadly problem but just a minor/major inconvenience. Thanks for that though. Truly the reason I tell myself why Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo catch it is because Scootaloo puts on AB's bow and then Sweetie Belle does the makeup. Though I don't have explanation for Babs really. Sorry about that.
Edit: also in the episode ponies put on HazMat suits making it obvious that it is in fact contagious.
edit v2: Big Mac catches it by holding the CMC in his mouth. in which case he probably made contact with Granny Smith, both of them die, the Apple Jack already grieving goes into a fit of rage and denial when she finds out Apple Bloom is also dead, and takes it out on Diamond Tiara if you didn't get that. And yes she is the element of honesty thats why she stabs herself in guilt.

I think they used hazmat suits because they panicked. Otherwise how is it that AJ and the others didn't catch it when they were near Applebloom...? And maybe there was an outbreak in the episode but I think that happened Just like in there: using the Heart's desire plant potion for being angry not getting their cutie mark that soon.
So basically there's no evidence it's contagious
And it disappeared because I think zebras cured them with the seed of truth or what was that. Why would the seed now Just hibernating the disease?
Sorry for bitching here, there are vulnerable points in this and probably I'm writing because I hate the story idea. :DDDDD

And I'm not jealous, as you can see I haven't even thought about writing. For the time being, I'm only reading.
Maybe if you would've chosen the FIRST AND ONLY cutie pox 'outbreak'. Now that would've been a nice epic story idea.
Everything happens too suddenly, and honestly I can't argue with the episode's end that it has been completely eradicated (only the potion could trigger).
Oh and don't fret about critizations too much, or you'll lose your confidence.

6838930 Also if it is that the chapters are short that is because this is meant to be a long story overall but not like 3 really detailed chapters.
6838930 and mentioning your things about it not really being contagious that will all be explained later in the story btw, there is a huge reason, and more to this then you think, the amount of plot holes now are really supposed to be explained later on as part of the big mystery to the whole thing. So I say gg.

"Apple Bloom looked at Zekora, she was dead, but just as Apple Bloom was about to leave, some seeds fell out of Zekora's saddlebag, seeds of truth. Apple Bloom took them and began to run forth, but she grew weaker and weaker as the virus noticed what she was holding, her run was slower than a walk, and she was about to collapse but she felt Zekora's guidance over her, filling her with determination. She ran as hard as she could now to find the rest of the CMC and found them together. All of them about to collapse."
I am a die hard undertale fan and honestly would have probably caught a more obscure reference. Anyway great story.
