	A month after the Cutie Pox incident, the CMC were walking down the road through Ponyville, nearing the EverFree forest. Apple Bloom was sad, and frankly still tired from the incident, but it had completely blown off of Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, who were walking ahead and joking about it, they were at least until they looked back and saw Apple Blooms feelings about it.
"Girls," Said Apple Bloom finally,"It's getting kind of late, and I think I have to be on mah way back to Sweet Apple Acres, I can't be late for supper."
"Maybe we should cut through the EverFree Forest, it's a bit of a shortcut" Said Scootaloo,"There's also a chance we will get to fight off a cool monster for our cutie marks."
"I don't think," Started Sweetie Belle but was cut off by Apple Bloom.
"Maybe."
"Don't be a chicken you two, I mean what would Rainbow Dash do."
"Fly back to Sweet Apple Acres," said Apple Bloom,"Over the entire town."
"Riiiight," Scootaloo said,"Lets not be Chicken though." Right after they continued into the Forest, thoughtlessly. 
After a long while they were nearing Sweet Apple Acres when they heard a feint growl which grew louder, and louder as the time continued. They kept looking around as they walked, hardly aware of the noise until they heard it grow much louder, nearer, more dangerous. Then it ended with a howl. They CMC started to run from the timber wolf when they finally got into Sweet Apple Acres, but the timber wolf was gaining on them, so at the last moment they reached and practically dove into their clubhouse.
"well..." said Apple Bloom,"That was... Hard to explain."
"Yeah, guess we shouldn't have gone through the EverFree Forest, should we." Said Scootaloo.
"It was your idea," said Sweetie Belle.
"Uhhh, yeah maybe..." Replied Scootaloo.
For a while they waited in the clubhouse, the feint howling of the timber wolf growing quieter as it went away. As time passed however the CMC quickly grew tired. And after an hour they finally spoke again.
"That was a long silence," Said Scootalo.
"Im long tucker," Said Apple Bloom,"Go tell Apple Jack, that I'm gonna hit the hay in here tonight. Mention the timber wolf as well,"
"NO!" Screamed Sweetie Belle,"With that MONSTROSITY out there, we all have to go together."
"No point in yelling at her..." Laughed Scootaloo pointing at Apple Bloom, who had fallen asleep. Then they saw a bluish white glow on Apple Bloom's flank.
"A cutie mark?!" Said Sweetie Belle.
"In what?" Scootaloo asked,"Sleeping?" But to their horor as it appeared it was a shiny grey hoop.
