Then again. In the actual lore that would be their ultimate protection. The audacity of that actually being correct (even though it is) would make people not believe it.
EDIT: The chapters ending though. It would be perfect if he put the "Good luck. I'm behind seven proxies" image instead
EDIT 2: Added spoiler masks as for those who haven't gotten to...THAT quest and to the first edit as it relates to the end of the chapter.
Best chapter ending EVER.
Ahahahahahahahahaha! That ending!
7479300 I see that you play Warframe also, so nice to see other players that are also into this as well.
That ending though
7479300 I wanted Luna to not believe her sister at first. Original it was going to be just a robot joke, but then I thought about that and thats what it became.
7479309 Vroom, Vroom!
7479964 Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.
That ending ???
One of the funniest cliffhangers i have read so far.
is the Chroma gonna join them?
7481185 i agree
7483984 Well, where else can he go? Defiantly can't stay in Canterlot in another universe.
7486372 The Sentinets in game are a bitch to beat without the proper mods. Generally its 2 if you solo more with a team. Imagine an army, and there are less than 30 to fight and kill them. For an enemy that can adapt to anything, using everything at your disposal is the best option. Along with WW2 tanks. They are pretty technologically -i cant think of the word i want- "simple". Besides the engine, the turning mechanism is a pair of handles with a brake handle. Many turrets were manual. Some later in the war were electric, but others were rotatory handles for the barrel and turret. Same with planes, no computer to control, its a compass, a stick, a throttle, radio and an engine.
I didn't explain it, but the "Wasps" are Archwing clad tenno waiting for transports.
The lore says
So they fell back to simple.
And yes the gravity explanation was rather lack luster.

Well, I kinda take the gun and blade to heart, meaning, Warframes with rifles and melee weapons.
Also, Hysteria, Exalted blade or Artemis Bow. Sentients can't do nothing to protect against those attacks. They're weak to the Void.
On the same train of thought, Warframe CC abilities work very well on them.
May I also present Mirage's backstory when you get that frame?
7486524
Not true. Because those attacks fall back on their respected weapons, Blades and primary, what damage you deal they adapt. So if i have a high damage slash melee with no elemental, EB amplifies that, and Sentients adapt. Now i combo, EB with Radial Blind and its Augment to cause massive amounts of damage.
Depends on the frame and their attack.
Please explain?

About Mirage, I'm mentioning the lore Lotus gives us about her: "Worm ships coming out of punch! A Warframe fighting Sentients"
and
"I see the Sentients crashing down on her, dying in overwhelming numbers. Now she's out of energy, I'm telling her to go but she's laughing, tearing their heads off as they swarm. "
Mirage, considered one of the physically frail Warframes, shields down, out of energy, was tearing those Sentient's head while laughing.
So, nope, I do not see how some old rusty tanks with inferior armor and inferior firepower (not mentioning mobility) can help a Warframe.
Really? I never had any issues tearing through batalysts or conculysts with Valkyr's Hysteria... Then I checked and realized it pretty much because I use 4 elemental mods, and the ability deals dmg spread equally between impact/slash/piercing. It has three dmg types be default, and 5 with my mods, and Sentients can only adapt up to 4 sources, so my build overwhelms their resistances. Still, Point to you there.
And well, I think understand what you mean about the WW2 units. I still strongly disagree with them, but I'm just gonna accept we're having differing opinions. And, judging by your backstory on the Sentients and the Orokin, this fic started quite a while ago, before we had any lore on both faction and we were still wondering whether humans even existed, and there were theories that Orokin and Sentients were alien races... And that Orokin might be nice guys, and not assholes that kidnap and do horrific experiments on children. for the sake of making supersoldiers.
7489718 Started before U18 and the major introduction to the Sentients. The Orokin were always human. They cam from earth, the Grineer are human clones and the Corpus are humanoid. With the addition of the operator that only solidifies that. Everyone thought the Tenno were humans in suits -which we know is not- The Sentients are now confirmed as terraforming robots made by the Orokin. Check the Detron crewman simaris scan for that.
I don't have a problem with differing opinions. In war you use everything at your disposal. Yes the frames are powerful but when you read on... Mirage still died. She may have fought the hoard... but she still failed. Even the operator went silent.
The biggest problem with the game is that the lore is filled with holes. We know the old war was humanity was pushed to the edge, turned to the void, created the frames from a failing project and fought back and won. The tenno turned on the orokin, went into stasis, the empire fell, and overtime the grineer took control.
7509642 It is explained, keep reading.
7513074 The view of the Orokin will change in future chapters. If you've done the Second Dream quest in the game you can see the reasoning behind Lotus being the bad guy. I don't know of any lore saying that Lotus ordered the Tenno to kill the Orokin. Because the Warframe Project was already a failed one before the war and at some point later the project was ordered to be scraped and the operators killed, Margulis was killed for fighting back. Where does the lore say the Corpus are direct decedents of the Orokin? Because the Corpus don't view the Tenno as bad they see them as profit. The corpus are the neutral faction in the game. Tenno just don't like that they experiment on Warframes and run the solar systems economy because they control the solar rails
I couldn't breathe after that ending RED. I was laughing so hard. Not cool XD!
7528814 I still laugh every time i read it.
7528867 I died at that ending and nearly got myself grounded
DAT ENDING THOUGH...
*Total deadpan*
Just wow
*clap, clap, clap, clap*
That ending fucking gets me every time I read this chapter. xD
Just saying, at the end of the chapter you missed a great opportunity to rickroll both the government and the readers.
Either way, still funny.

I wrote this chapter long before that meme was mainstream.
Hehehehehehehe. Now THAT'S how you make a nod to your lore and the official lore changing.
