I always felt that Dash would actually not like being a Wonderbolt once she became one, far to much structure and synchronize teamwork. I see her as pushing herself to her limits like a runner rather then team player. But still a good story.
I always wondered what Dash's parents names were, I remember seeing them but their names always eluded me.
I am not sure where this leading, so I watch and wait n see

well.... those aren't Dash's parents Official names.....
We don't know her mom's name, but most of the fandom seems to accept it as Firefly since... Dash was inspired by Gen 1's Firefly I believe (as far as personality and skills go) and her dad's official name is Rainbow Blaze (from the MLP:CCG card sets, which although not foalproof... is pretty accurate)

wow.....bringing the abortion topic in a fanfic.....
Dash while not the brightest bulb at times is still a mare and just like any woman its ''their'' choice. Rainbow is right. shes young, unmaried, just got into her dreamjob, her life long goal.
as a catholic guy myself i firmly believe it is the mothers choice weather to abort or not. provided they do it with in the first few weeks (at which point theres still not really even a fetus there yet)
raising a kids is a huge deal. now Dash is never going to get knocked up on the show. but even if she was its her decision and one we would never know.
i guess what i'm getting at is it just seams like your pushing your moral/political/religious views via a fanfic and i'm pretty sure Dash would have givin it a long thought before making a decision rather that just go for it....

If she wants something (i.e. receiving more attention than Mare-do-Well, preventing Tank from hibernating, or in this case, getting her new Wonderbolt career back), she'll do whatever she can to achieve that goal. That's all that I was intending to get at. If I offended you in any way by what you read, I apologize, but in all honesty, I'm against abortion entirely.

An abortion takes place when the "thing" is still an embryo. It's not even a fetus and hasn't even began to form. Most hospitals don't let you have an abortion after 12 weeks because of this. You're not killing off a life, you're killing off the POTENTIAL to have a life. If you don't believe that then look to another positive: this world is too overpopulated. The more people, the more we kill our own world. I could explain that too but then this um thing.. No, reply.. Would be -COMMENT that's what it's called- too long.
I like where this is going but this went from drama to after school special. If it were me I would of just had them talk about it and their feelings towards it. It got a little to real for me.

I figured she wasnt going to go through with adoption but wasnt expecting twins! Horses having twins have a much higher risks of complications but seeing as these are magic equines and don't have to be completely realistic, a pregnancy without complications is fine too.
Now I wonder what Scootaloos reaction will be? Also if they will be two colts, two fillies or a colt and a filly...
