This was good. I enjoyed the story. Careful though, there were some spelling mistakes and grammatical issues like tense mix up throughout the story. Another read through would fix them. this could stand alone, but will there be a sequel?

I think you meant to say "ice cream flavors", it's just a little mistake, but it feels really weird when I read it.
I think you meant to either say "you've done what you could" or "you did what you could".
This story kind of feels like it is riddled with little errors, you should see what you can do to correct them.

This is definitely getting added to my favorites, because this story reminds of a question "Would you give up one life to save hundreds, or save that one life for the cost of hundreds". And it also reminds of the ending of a certain Naughty Dog game.
