I imagine Soldier would be alot more excited about going to war...
Soldier shot a rustling bush and not a talking horse, it would have been more legit if Soldier did shoot shining and have his bullets bounce off a pink protection spell . You could have made another chapter about how shining got to the TF2 world and back, also explaining to Soldier about their war. You also could have explained the surroundings more.
You did capture Soldiers personality pretty good, same may not be said to Shining though.
I'm just nitpicking because I think this story's got great potential.
And I'm high on coffee in the middle of the night.

The whole coyote thing was just too make a joke. He was praying to God saying he was good, and in the middle of his prayer he took a life and screamed. "See you in Hell, Maggot!"
He even insulted the poor thing.
But trust me, I thought about him shooting a pony first.
I'll try to explain the surroundings more if you want, I just figured nobody would really care about a paragraph that only tells you about the surrounding things.
Shining Armor doesn't have anything that sticks out about his personality in my opinion. He just talks normal, maybe even a little proper.
I'll try harder, and may even edit the first chapter so it will have more detail.

I like this, there are a couple errors ( It's holo, not hollow) although I am not sure if the errors were just to express the soldier personality (idiocy, which you potrayed extremely well, I can see the soldier sleeping through torture). Either way, carry on (and maybe include the fresh brewed victory taunt).
