Ride 42: Psyqualia

“What do you mean I can’t do anything to stop it?” asked Trixie

“Hey!” said Flim

“Yeah! She’s just like Flip Side.” said Flam

“I activate Alfred’s counterblast! Superior call, Margal!” An red mechanical dog appeared.

(Palamedes) (Alfred) (Gallatin) 4 damage all face down

(Marron) (Margal) (PK)

“Yes! Now the Royal Paladins have assembled are assembled.” said Scootaloo

“That brings out Alfred’s full power.” said Sweetie Belle

“I attack Black Panther with Palamedes boosted by Marron, and his skill gives him 3000 power.” said Apple Bloom

21000 to 10000

“21000 power! No guard.” Palamedes flew up then slashed her with his two swords. “Damage trigger check.” (no trigger)

“Here I go. Alfred attacks next, twin drive (both no triggers)” Apple Bloom charged at Trixie and swung her sword at her. (no trigger)

In the stands.

“Nice!” said Rainbow Dash

“Thats two damage.” said Diamond Tiara

“She’s caught up.” said Silver Spoon

In the stadium.

“Now with a boost from Pegasus Knight, Gallatin attacks!”

16000 to 10000

“Pegasus Knight!” said Trixie with fear. Then Apple Bloom just grind. “I wont let this attack hit. I guard with Silence Joker.” Gallatin sliced Joker then went back.

“I end my turn.”

‘She is just trying to intimidate me. I’m not sure what she has planned with that Pegasus Knight of her’s. But if I end the game now it won't matter. She has four damage, and I have all the cards I need. I’m gonna win.’ “The great and powerful Trixie rides General Seifried.” Trixie turned into an armored cyclops unicorn. “I call Highspeed Brakki, Mecha Trainer exits the field. With a boost from Assault Squad, Brakki attacks! I activate Brakki’s soulblast. To add 5000 power.”

18000 to 10000

“I don’t guard.” Brakki charged at Apple Bloom and tacked her. “Damage trigger check.” (No trigger)

“After using Brakki’s soulblast, he returns to the deck. I use Assault Squad’s skill to stand it up. Ok, one more damage to finish this game. With a boost from Dudley Dan, Seifried attacks your vanguard. I activate Seifrieds skill to add 3000 power. Then I use Dudley Dan’s counterblast. I superior call Wonder Boy from my deck. General Blast!” She fired a ball of magic at Apple Bloom.

17000 to 10000

“I guard with Epona and High Dog Akane!” Epona and Akane got in front of the blast.

17000 to 25000

in the stands.

“Thats 25000.” said Rumble

“And Seifried’s power is 17000. If she draws two triggers in the twin drive….” said Thunderlane

“Then the game is over.”

In other part of the stands.

“It looks like the match is heating up and the thought on our minds is will Apple Bloom be able to defend?” said Pinkie Pie

“Good question. Trixie still has a unit standing. She can't afford to use up all the cards in her hoof.” said Fluttershy

in the stadium.

“Apple Bloom has to survive this attack and guard the next one too.” said Scootaloo

“Drive trigger check.” (Sky Diver)

In the stands.

“No trigger!” said Diamond Tiara

“I don't think she is done yet.” said Rainbow Dash

in the stadium.

“When General Seifried is my vanguard. If I reveal a grade 3 during my drive check I can call it to an open rear guard circle. Now I have everything I need to finish this. Whats wrong? So scared to talk?”

“No, I’m ok. Now finish your twin drive.”

“Fine, second check!” (no trigger)

“Apple Bloom needs to guard this next two attacks.” said Scootaloo

“My attack will soon but you out of your misery! I’ll start with the Sky Diver on the right. He attacks with a boost from Wonder Boy.”

19000 to 10000

“I guard with Elaine.” Elaine got in the way of Sky Diver’s attack

“You may have been able to stop my first attack. But I still have one more. This time it’s the Sky Diver on my left. He attacks with a boost from the Assault Squad.”

15000 to 10000

“I guard with Pongal.”

Trixie chucked. “Thats not going to be enough to protect you. And you have no more cards in hoof.”

“Gallatin, come forward!”

“She’s intercepting.” Sky Diver flew up then flew back.

“Way to go Apple Bloom!” said Scootaloo

‘I attacked her four times and was only able to deal one damage.’ thought Trixie then she relived that the spot in front Pegasus Knight was open. ‘Now she has an open space in the front row. That means on her next turn, she’ll bring Pegasus Knight forward.’

“Is your turn over?” asked Apple Bloom

“Yeah!”

In that case. FINAL TURN!” When she said that her friends were shocked.

“Apple Bloom just said….” said Scootaloo

“Final Turn.” finished Sweetie Belle

Spike just kept his serious look on his face.

In the princess’s chamber.

“This match is getting interesting!” said Cadence

In the stadium.

“Your calling Final Turn. You trying to make a fool out of me?”

“I don’t have to try. Your doing just fine without me.”

“Quit messing with me.”

“This is bad!” said Flim

“Yeah, Trixie might loss. The girl acts just like Flip Side.” said Flam

“I move Pegasus Knight up. Then I call Marron, I activate Margal’s skill. By sending him to the soul I add 3000 power to a Pegasus Knight. Then he gains 3000 from his own skill.”

“This is getting ridiculous. Is she acutely going to win with that card?”

“With marron’s support, I’ll have Pegasus Knight attack.”

Trixie laugh. “Hold on, what happened to you're going to finish me off with Pegasus Knight. I still only have four damage. Even if your attack goes throw. That only puts me at five damage.”

“Are you going to guard or not?”

“No guard!” Pegasus Knight flew in and swung his sword at her. “Damage trigger check! (Draw trigger) I just got a draw trigger! I add 5000 power to Seifried and draw!” ‘Perfect I got what I need to defend against her.’ “At first I thought your Pegasus Knight prediction would be true. But now I’m going to stop your attacks. Then I’ll win.” Trixie laugh

“It’s just like I said, this is the final turn. Here I go.” She charged at Trixie

“I guard with Cheer Girl, Tiara.”

“Twin drive, (No trigger, Stand trigger) looks like I got a stand trigger.”

“No way?!”

“Pegasus Knight stands and gains 5000 power.”

“It can be.”

“What is this?” asked Flim

“It feels like Flip Side is in the room.” said Flam

Apple Bloom slashed Tiara. “Next, I attack with Swordsman of the Explosive Flames Palamedes,boosted by marron. His skill increases his power by 3000.”

21000 to 15000

“21000! I’ve got to do it. I’m going to discard a card and nullify your attack.”

“Time to fly Pegasus Knight.” Then Apple Bloom’s eyes glowed blue and purple. “Now picture it, you're standing on the surface of the planet Cray. Unable to stop me.”

Then Trixie found herself in a casem.

“Where am I? What is this?”

In the Princess chamber.

“That power!” said Luna

“There's no mistaking it. Psyqualia!” said Celestia

in the stands.

“What's going on?” asked Diamond Tiara

“The match is going the way Apple Bloom said.” said Silver Spoon

In the stadium.

“It’s true.” wisped Spike

Apple Bloom but Pegasus Knight in the rest postine.

Where Trixie was Pegasus Knight appeared.

“Pegasus Knight! There is nothing I can do. I can’t guard!” Pegasus Knight pulled back his sword. “It’s not over! My revenge won't end here. I can’t let it end. All I have to do is draw a heal trigger.” Then Pegasus Knight swung his sword. (no trigger) “Impossible!” then Trixie fell to the floor. “How could this happened? Did I really just loss? What was her name? Apple Bloom?” Then Trixie looked and say Flip Side. Trixie screamed like in pain. Then Flim and Flam went over there.

“Hey what's wrong?” asked Flam

“Are you alright?” asked Flim

Apple Bloom put her cards away and started to walk back.

In the stands.

“Apple Bloom what is happening to you?” whispered Applejack

In the stadium.

“The winner is Apple Bloom from team Crusaders.” said The Judge

Then Apple Bloom got back to her team. “I won, Spike!” Then Apple Bloom had a headache and started to collapse. Then Spike grabbed her and put her sat her down in the chair.

“Are you going to be ok, Apple Bloom?” asked Scootaloo

“Yeah, I think so. I just feel strange.” said Apple Bloom

In the princess chambers.

“I don’t believe it.” said Cadence

“So it wasn’t a coincidence she came to PSY.” said Celestia

“Right, it was fate.” said Luna

In the stands.

“Wow, what a fight. It looks like Apple Bloom is both a prophet and a fighter.” said Pinkie Pie

“That was a match for the finals. I was surprised that she was able to predict how she was going to win.” said Fluttershy

“It was certainly a wonderful fight.”

in the stadium.

“Of course my fights are always amazing.” whispered Trixie

“What happened out there?” asked Flam

Flim and Sweetie Belle were read to start their fight.

“Stand up, Vanguard!”

In the infirmary.

“It sounds like Sweetie Belle’s match has started.” said Apple Bloom

“Yeah! But more importantly are you ok, Apple Bloom?” asked Applejack

“I’m fine! I think your were overreacting taking me here.”

“In that last match, you scared me.”

“Why? I was just fighting like normal.”

“I’m just going to get us some drinks.” Applejack got up and left the room.

‘What could she mean by that?’

In the princess chamber.

They were watching the match.

“So what about her. She is pretty impressive.” said Cadence

“Yes, Sweetie Belle has an amazing memory. Allowing her to stay a few moves ahead in the game.” said Celestia

“Then….” said Luna

“No, I can't scenes any Psyqualia from her. It looks like she doesn't have that power.”

“Too bad, at least we found one.” said Cadence

“That’s right!”

In the stadium.

“The winner is Sweetie Belle from team Crusaders.” said the judge

The crowed cheered.

In the infirmary.

“What happened?” asked Apple Bloom

“Sweetie Belle won!” said Spike stepping in.

“Realy, so that means we won the tournament?”

“Yeah!”

“Alright we did. Spike?”

“What?”

“Do you think I've gotten stronger? I’ve been training and practicing everyday, to be as strong a you. I’ve gotten stronger.”

“No, Apple Bloom. You’ve gotten weaker!”

In the stadium team crusaders were congratulated on winning the tournament.

At the entrance.

Trixie was mumbling.

“So what are we going to do now?” asked Flim

“It looks like its the end of the road for us.” said Flam

“What are you two babbling about? This isn’t the only Regional Tournament. Then I’ll get my revenge on Flip Side, Spike and Apple Bloom.” said Trixie

“Realy?” said Flim

“It’s not going to happen.” said Flam

“What a poor loser.” said a pony

When Trixie turned around she saw three ponies one unicron and two earth ponies.

“The Brilliant Song!” said Trixie

“We heard that somepony, was up to something here.” said a grey earth pony mare

“So we decided to came and check it out.” said a white unicorn mare

“I would say three are disappointing.” said a blue earth pony stallion.

Then like 20 ponies were around them.

In the infirmary.

“Spike, what did you say?” asked Apple Bloom

“You’ve gotten weaker.” said Spike

“Why? I beat Trixie! But you, you tell me. If thats what you think, then fight me. I’ll show you just how stronger I’ve gotten.”

Spike said nothing. He just remembered something.

“What’s wrong? You're afraid that if we play I’ll win.” she said as her eyes glowed blue and purple.

Applejack heard everything from outside the room. Then Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle came.

“Apple Bloom, I’m not going to fight you! Good bye.” said Spike then he left the room. He walked past Applejack, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.

“Hey, Spike!” said Scootaloo

Spike stopped and said “It’s time for me to quit the team.”

“What? Why?”

Then Spike continued to walk away.

‘It’s happening again, just like the last time.’ thought Spike

“He’s gone.” whispered Apple Bloom as she remembered some good times with Spike. “Why?”
