Ride 41: Trixie's Revenge

“It’s good to see you hear Crusaders and Spike. It’s good to see you and I thought we might not have the chance to catch up.” said Trixie

“What is she talking about? And why are you even hear?” asked Scootaloo

“Doesn’t team Asteroid have their own regions to deal with.” said Sweetie Belle

“This is revenge! That’s right! I’ve came back for my revenge.” said Trixie as she laughed

“Something about her has changed.” said Scootaloo

“Maybe something happened?” said Apple Bloom

“Something! Something happened! In fact, plenty has happened. I lost everything when I lost to you.” said Trixie

“Please! once more! Just give me one more chance!” said past Trixie

“Flip Side doesn't awole losers on the team. Now give me your ID card.” said past Lightning Dust

Trixie pulled out her card then Lightning Dust took it and crushed it.

“It serves you right!” said past Sunset Shimmer

“What?” said past Trixie

“Remember what you said?”

I heard you and Flip Side are evenly match. So all I have to do is defeat you then I’ll prove I’m stronger then Flip Side is. Then I’ll be the leader of team Asteroid.” said past Trixie

“Quite, that big mouth of your’s is going to get you into trouble.” said past Sunset Shimmer

“Why it only makes sense that the best player should be the leader.”

“The best, that’s not you! You know its dangerous to run your mouth like that. You have no right to be here. Get out!” said past Sunset Shimmer

Trixie left the building. “What ever, who needs team Asteroid. I can cardfight anywhere. There are a lot of teams all over Equestria that would glad to have me. I’ll show you!”

In the present.

“But I was in for a shock. Everywhere I went I was rejected by the team or kicked out of the shop. I wanted to get back at Flip Side. But I needed a team so I went out and found some others who were also fired from team Asteroid. The plan is simple, all we wanted is to settle the score with Flip Side and his teammates. And that's who we are now. We are team Avengers. We just have one objective, to beat team Asteroid and Flip Side at nationals. that will be our revenge. But first, Spike I want to pay you back for that win you took the first time. fight me in the first match! Unless you are afraid to loss to me.” said Trixie

“All right, we are in the final match. Our first team is a new one that displayed top skills one there way to beat team Handsome in the semi finals. It’s team Avengers. They are up against the winners of the last region tournament team Crusaders. The winner of this match will go on to the nationals.” said Pinkie Pie

“This should be an exciting match.” said Fluttershy

“Trixie, she’s creepy!” said Sweetie Belle

“Yeah, but she beat Thunderlane. She’s a tough player. So Spike, are you going to fight her or not?” asked Scootaloo

Spike said nothing.

“I’ll go first.” said Apple Bloom

“Are you sure about this? Aren’t you still tired from before?” asked Scootaloo in shocked

“I’m fine now! Besides, I know I can win.”

“I don’t mind. Go for it.” said Spike

“Thanks, Spike” Apple Bloom walked forward. ‘Spike, believes in me. I swear, I’ll win this fight.’ Then her eyes glowed blue and purple.

Trixie laugh. “It looks like Spike was to scared to face me. And they sent the weakest player on their team. At least this won't take to long. It looks like we know what team Crusaders is made of now. Don’t we!”

“Pathetic!” said Flim

“They don’t stand a chance!” said Flam

The three them laugh.

“You're going to lose.” said Apple Bloom

“What was that?” asked Trixie

Apple Bloom looked at her deck as her eyes glowed blue and purple.

“And this is the card that I’ll beat you with.” she said showing the card.

“What?!”

“What do you mean Apple Bloom?” asked Scootaloo in a shocked tone

In the stands.

“Declaring her victory before the battle begins. That's bold!

“But that doesn't seem something Apple Bloom would do.” said Snips

“What do you think Applejack?” asked Snails

“Umm….” said Applejack

“That's not like her at all.” said Rainbow Dash

“Apple Bloom!” whispered Applejack

In the stadium.

Trixie looked at the card and saw it was Young Pegasus Knight and laugh. “For a minute I fell for it. But I’d double-check the card if I were you. That’s Young Pegasus Knight, how do you intend to beat me with a grade one unit?” asked Trixie

In stands.

“She has a point, it’s a good card even if it’s not a grade 3.” said Diamond Tiara

“What does she intend to do with it?” asked Silver Spoon

“Good question, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.” said Rainbow Dash

In the stadium.

“The grade doesn’t matter. This is the card you’ll lose to. The outcome of this match has been decided.” said Apple Bloom

When Trixie was looking at Apple Bloom for a second she thought she saw Flip Side. “Flip Side!” ‘Clam down! She is just somepony in Spike’s shadow. She is only a third-rate fighter. She is only bluffing.’

“Are you two ready?” asked the judge

“Yes!” said Apple Bloom

“Of course! I’m going to make you regret for opening your big mouth.” said Trixie

In the princess’s chamber.

“It’s so strange.” said Celestia

“What is it?” asked Luna

“I don’t remember Apple Bloom being the type to bluffing .”

“Your right.”

“What’s wrong with it?” asked Cadence

In the stadium.
“Now it’s time for the first match of the finals.” said Pinkie Pie

“Stand up, Vanguard!” A light surrounded them as they were transformed.

“I draw, I ride Little Sage Marron. I move Barcgal back and activate his skill and superior call Flogal. I end my turn.” said Apple Bloom

“That’s all! What about Young Pegasus Knight? Isn’t he going to win the game for you?” asked Trixie

“Instead of wasting my time. Why don’t you go ahead and start your turn.”

“Say what!”

In the stands.

“I have never seen Apple Bloom like this.” said Diamond Tiara

“What’s wrong with Apple Bloom to day?” asked Silver Spoon

“I don’t know! She might be in a bad mood.” said Rainbow Dash

in the stadium.

‘Who does she think she is. I’ll show her who she is dealing with’ thought Trixie “I worked long and hard to get here and I wont loss to you, got that! The great and powerful Trixie rides Wonder Boy, Mecha Trainer moves. I call the Spike Brothers Assault Squad. Here I go! Wonder Boy attacks Marron.”

8000 to 8000

“I don’t guard.” said Apple Bloom

“Drive trigger check.” (no trigger) She jumped up in to the air and kicked at Apple Bloom.

“Damage trigger check.” (no trigger)

“With support from the Assault Squad, Mecha Trainer attacks Marron.”

9000 to 8000

“No guard.” (no trigger) Mecha Trainer charged at Apple Bloom and hit her.

“That end the great and powerful Trixie’s turn. Two damage already this match is going smoothly.”

“I stand and draw. I call Young Pegasus Knight.”

“Thats it.” said Sweetie Belle

“The card she said she would win with.” said Scootaloo

“I use Barcgal’s skill and call Llew. I activate Llew’s counterblast, I superier rider Blaster Blade. I activate Young Pegasus Knight’s skill, during my main phase Young Pegasus Knight gains 3000 power.”

In the stands.

“The number of cards added to her soul this turn was, Silver Spoon you remember.” said Diamond Tiara

“Marron, Flogal, Barcgal, and Llew there were four.” said said Silver Spoon

in the stadium.

“Which means Pegasus Knight’s power is up to 18000.” said Apple Bloom

“So she used that superior ride to make his power stronger.” said Trixie

“I call Gallatin. Gallatin attack.”

10000 to 8000

“Iguard with the Assault Squad.” Gallatin charged and the assault squad got in the way of Gallatin’s sword as he slashed them.

“I attack with Blaster Blade.”

9000 to 8000

“No guard!”

“Driver trigger check.” (no trigger) Apple Bloom ran up and swung her sword at Trixie.

“Damage trigger check, (critical trigger) critical trigger. I give all the effects to Wonder Boy.”

“An extra 5000 power will not be enough to protect you from this attack. Go, Pegasus Knight.” He flew up into the air the charged at Trixie and suang his sword at her. (no trigger)
In the stands.

“She did it! She dealt damage with the card she warned about.” said Diamond Tiara

“But that was just two damage. Do you think she could be bluffing?” asked Silver Spoon

“Possibly!” said Rainbow Dash

in the stadium.

“You're trying to scare me. Putting all those cards in the soul for a power boost is just a one time trick. Once this turn is over Pegasus Knight power will return to normal. You still think you can beat me with that grade one? Just like I though you're all talk.”

“We’ll see about that.”

As Apple Bloom said Trixie seemed to be worried.

“What's wrong trixie?” asked Flim

“Don’t tell me your acutely scared.” said Flam

“Be quiet!” said Trixie ‘Why? Why do I keep picturing Flip Side.’

“I end my turn.” said Apple Bloom

‘What am I afraid of. If I dont beat this loser I’ll never get my revenge. I’m the great and powerful Trixie! She is just messing with me a grade one unit cannot possibly affect the outcome of this game.’ “The great and powerful Trixie will ride Treasured, Black Panther. I call Dudley Dan. I think I will retire your Pegasus Knight. Mecha Trainer attack with support from the Assault Squad.” Mecha Trainer ran up and punched Pegasus Knight. Trixie laughed. “This way your production doesn’t come true.”

In the stands.

“How embarrassing!” said Diamond Tiara

“What do you mean?” asked Silver Spoon

“Remember what Apple Bloom said. ‘I’m going to beat you with this card.’ That’s what she said. But now that card is gone. It’s Embarrassing!”

In the princess’s chamber.

“Well thats too bad. It would have been cool if worked out the way Apple Bloom said it would.” said Cadence

“As if, she doesn't have the power that we are looking for.” said Luna

“I’m not sure.” said Celestia

“You disagree.”

“The fight is still far from over. And there is something strange about the way she is playing.”

In the stadium.

Trixie laughed. “Here I go, With Dudley Dan’s support Treasured, Black Panther attacks Blaster Blade. I activate Dudley Dan’s counterblast. By putting a Spike Brother’s unit from my hoof to the soul and I can superior call Sky Diver!

In the stands.

“What!?” said Silver Spoon

“Even though her vanguard is a grade two, she called a grade three unit.” said Rainbow Dash

“What, she can do that. I did know it was possible.” said Diamond Tiara

In the stadium.

“So what are you going to do?” asked Trixie

“I don’t guard.” said Apple Bloom

“Work for me. I check for a drive trigger, (draw trigger) draw trigger! I add 5000 power to Sky Diver and then I draw.” She ran up and tackled Apple Bloom (no trigger) “Now I attack with Sky Diver.” He flew up then tackled her. (Stand trigger) “You drew that stand trigger for nothing. How does losing feel?”

“Apple Bloom’s at four damage.” said Scootaloo

“And Trixie has two. It starting to look grim.” said Rarity

“It’s still early! She might be able to catch up.” said Sweetie Belle

“I stand and draw.” said Apple Bloom

Then Trixie got this weird feeling. ‘Why do I got a bad feeling all of a sudden.’ thought Trixie

“Enter the fray, King of all knights. I ride King of Knights Alfred. Next I call Little Sage Marron and the Swordsman of the Explosive Flames, Palamedes.” a Giant pegasus with two giant swords appeared. “And then….”

“No, not that card.”

“Yes it is that card.” said Apple Bloom showing Trixie the card.

“No, it’s another Young Pegasus Knight.”

“So she had a second one.” said Scootaloo

“Then does that mean?” asked Sweetie Belle

Spike had a worried look on his face.

“I call Young Pegasus Knight. Just like I said! This is the card I’m going to use to defeat you.” said Apple Bloom

‘Apple Bloom it’s as i feared.’ thought Spike

The more Trixie looked at Apple Bloom the more he saw of Flip Side. ‘Why do I keep seeing Flip Side.” thought Trixie

“Now picture what lies ahead. You’ll be defeated by my hoof and there is nothing you can do about it.” said Apple Bloom

Nice chapter. I loved these two episodes. I can't wait to see what happens next. I love the prediction with Pegasus Knight. Good luck with the next chapter.
