Sweetie Belle entered Card Capital from coming home from school. “Sweetie Belle how is your day at school?” asked Rarity

“It was fine. I see you got some new tables. Though I think you forgot the chairs.”

“No, I didn’t you see it’s a standing fight table.”

“A standing fight table I never heard of it before.”

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon entered the shop. “Cool a new cardfight table.” said Silver Spoon

“Nice and the first to battle on that table will be…” said Diamond Tiara

“To be honest with you I only see is him at is the park, the market, or the card shop. When he does talk to me it nothing personal.”

“You now what this means. Finding Spike out on the streets is like finding a pack with a triple rare card in side of it.” said Scootaloo

“You know what we should follow him. Aren’t you guys even cresuts, a secretive dragon like him must be hiding something.”

The three of them followed Spike trying not to be seen. “Nice he hasn't seen us yet.” said Scootaloo

Spike went down an alleyway. The three looked down the alley way and saw no one there. “He’s gone” said Scootaloo.

They turned around and saw Spike. They were shocked and scared to see it was him. “Rainbow Dash don’t you think you're a bit old to play detective with Apple Bloom and Scootaloo.” said Spike

Back at Card Capital Spike and Scootaloo were about to cardfight. “What’s going on?” asked Sweetie Belle

“Spike and Scootaloo are about to met each other in battle.” said Rarity

“Really, now that you mention it I don’t think I never seen those two face of before.”

“Not only that, but they're going to do it on one of my execve standing card tables. This day just gets better.”

“Can you watch the counter for me ok.”

“Stand up the Vanguard, Lizard Runner, Undeux.”

“The Vanguard sounds ridiculous, Battleraizer.”

They turn into their units. “I usually like going second. But either way I will bet you. It’ s time for me to ride the Screaming’ and Dancing Announcer, Shout. I activate Battleraizer ability I move him to the rear guard.” ‘Since I can’t attack this turn I’ll draw cards looking for a grade two.’ “I activate Shouts ability putting him at rest I drop a card and draw a card.” ‘Another grade one.’ “I call Shout to the rear guard. Then drop and draw again. Yes thats my turn.”

“Are you ready for this now I ride Brutal Jack. I call Tough Boy and Battleraizer. I activat Brutal Jack’s counterblast. Now I’m going to give you everything I got my first attack is Tough Boy against your vanguard.

“Checking the Damage trigger.”(No Trigger)

“Isupport Brutal Jack with Battleraizer. When Brutal Jack is in the vanguard cycle and he hi supported by a Nova Grappler unit his power goes up by 5000. And I activat Battleraizer skill as well giving Jack another 3000 power.”

“What so that 3000 plus 5000 plus another 3000” said Apple Bloom

“With a total of 22000 power I attack your vanguard.” Jack slashed Bahr.

“Check the damage trigger. Draw trigger ative. The power boost to my vanguard and a extra card for me.”

“I’m not done. With support from Shout I’ll have my author Battleraizer attack your rear guard.”

10000 to 8000

“But I defend with Lizard Soldier, Ganlu.”

“I return Battleraizer to my deck and end my turn. Well Spike it looks like I hit you for two damage that turn.”

“You did land some attacks. But that’s as far as you get. I ride Dragon Knight, Aleph.” He turned into a armored earth pony with a sword in one hoof whale riding a red dragon. “And I call the Embodiment of Spear, Tahr. I activate Aleph’s skill by moving Tahr and Bahr to my soul. I can search my deck for they Embodiment of Victory, Aleph and ride it.” The pony gained Bahr’s armor and Tahrs spear. The dragon went from red to black.

“You got a grade three already.”

“Getting a grade three vanguard before your opponent is a great way to win games. Just in chase you didn’t know that.”

“That impressive” said Sweetie Belle.

“Now lets have some fun shall we. I call the Flame of Hope Aermo, the Dragon Knight Nehalem, and the Wyvern Guard, Barri to rear guard. Aermo supports Aleph in an attack on your vanguard. Check the twin drive, I got a heal trigger the power will go to Nehalem and I will recover one damage.” He stabbed Jack with his spear. (No trigger) “Sense Aermo’s boost was successful I get to drop a card and draw. I support Nehalem with the power of Barri and attack Brutal Jack.” He also stabbed Jack with his spear. (No trigger) “Now its your turn.”

“I need to attack with a grade three of my own and I have just the ticket. I ride Mr. Invincible.” She turned into a blue pegasus with a red cape.

“Why did she do that? Her last vanguard had more attack power then that unit.” said Apple Bloom

“It looks like she going for grade over power.” said Rainbow Dash

“You can afford to lose a little power in order to get twin drive.” said Sweetie Belle

“I start with Mr. Invincible’s skill I soul charge and flip one of my cards in the damage zone face up. Next I call the King of Sword dismissing Battleraizer. Moving Tough Boy bock I call another King of Sword. I support the King of Sword with Tough Boy and attack Aleph.” “All right the attack goes through.” The King slashes Aleph with his sword. (No trigger)

“Now Mr. Invincible attacks Aleph. Twin drive check, nothing there, awesome a critical trigger. My standing King of Sword will take the 5000 attack power bonus and Invincible's damage just went up by one.” Invincible flew up into the air then charged at Aleph punching him.

“Check the damage trigger critical trigger I give all effects to Aleph, and the other.” (no trigger)

“With using Shout as support I’ll have the King of Sword attack Aleph.”

“I guard with Genjo.”

22000 to 25000

“So that’s an extra 5000 attack power and a 1000 point shield. At 2500 power the attack won't go through.” Said Apple Bloom

“Dang it what a bad timing for a damage trigger. At least now I even the playing field.”

“Ride the vanguard Vortex Dragon.” He turned into a blue dragon.

“guard the attack with Ring Girl, Clara.” A mechanical mare with a small scoreboard appeared.

Scootaloo was hesitant. “Why is she hesitating like that?” asked Apple Bloom

“She is in a tough spot right now. With four cards sitting in the damage zone. She is backed into a corner this could be the final attack.” said Rainbow Dash

“When Spike checks his twin drive if ether card is a critical trigger then this game is over. So the best move is to defend right.”

“Yeah but just take a look at Scootaloo’s hoof.”

“She only has two cards.”

“At this late stage of the game using what few cards you have could be your downfall.” said Sweetie Belle

“I’ve got it. I will intercept with the King of Sword and guard with Shining lady.”

“Listen Spike you don’t need to explain this to me like I’m some noob. Draw I activate Mr. Invincible’s skill I don’t have any damage to flip over but I’ll soul charge anyway. Now I call Brutal Jack then counterblast to release him. Supporting Jack with Shout I launch an attack at your Vortex Dragon.”

“It looks like the attack goes through. Damage trigger check, draw trigger thats 5000 power to my vanguard and one more card for me.”

“It looks like you have five damage. I only have to hit you one more time. Invincible attacks your vanguard.”

10000 to 15000

“With a damage trigger active that Vortex Dragon is way too powerful” said Apple Bloom

“But if twin drive pays off she might have a chance.” said Sweetie Belle

“I see, even if this attack looks bad at first Scootaloo knows that just a single drive trigger could win her the game.”

“I don’t think Spike is going to fall for something like that.” said Rainbow Dash

“Guarding with Genjo” said Spike

“With a shield in play this attack is harmless.”

“So much for lucky draws.” said Apple Bloom

“Checking twin drive, no triggers revealed this time.” said Scootaloo

“Now I get it obviously the best outcome is if the attack lands and even if it doesn't she still gets she still gets to add cards to her hoof.” said Sweetie Belle

“Thats a good strategy” said Apple Bloom

“Using Tough Boy to support King of Sword. Then I will be attacking your Vortex Dragon.”

“Guarding with Tahr.”

“There both amazing.” said Apple Bloom

“Looks like things are still even.” said Scootaloo

“I draw, then I soul charge to give Vortex 2000 power. I call the Dragon Knight Nehalem, and Wyvern Strike, Jarran.”

“Let me guess you attack with Vortex first to check the twin drive.”

“As usual you guess wrong.”

“Wait what does it mean?” asked Apple Bloom

Cleanse this land as it bathes in your flames Vortex Dragon. Sending three of your rear guard to the drop zone. Let’s end this I support Nehalem with Barri and attack Invincible. “
