This was very cute! I hardly ever read poetry as fanfiction (not that there's an incredible amount on this site anyway), but this was still very touching.
I was going to mention that the story itself seemed a little bit fast-paced in the beginning, but then I realised that the lesson wasn't about them getting together, but about the bond they made and the trials they must overcome.
