This is the first book in the Daring Do adventures. Daring Do has been searching for the long lost temple for what seems like ages now. After a startling visit from Ahuizotl her adventures take a dangerous twist.

Megan is enjoying life in Ponyville while living with the Apple Family. The Mane 6 (minus Rainbow Dash) are handling a manticore problem, while Megan and Rainbow Dash receive word that Ahuizotl has captured Daring Do and is preparing to take her to Tambelon. They set out to rescue her, but Megan winds up kidnapped by Cabelleron and his flunkies. Now the Mane 6 have to rescue Megan, Rainbow Dash, and Daring Do before they are taken straight to Grogar.

For some time, Daring do, the famed Elements of Harmony in tow, have been on the trail of a set of magical items from a long lost civilization. Unfortunately, Ahuizotl and Caballeron have joined forces and have been remarkably efficient.

Encountering the duo of ne'er-do-wells at the final destination, she gives them one last chance...

Professor Derring Do is not an adventurer. She is an archaeologist, and quite frankly she has no patience for the book series using her image and name for such frivolous purposes! The number of ponies she's had to turn away, the number of potential professionals that leave because she's 'not what they expected' is something that aggravates her to no end. Everything in those novels is fiction, fiction, fiction, complete and utter fiction!

Book 1 of The Daring Don't Saga

Daring Do once again pops into Rainbow Dash's life with the offer of an adventure to find a mysterious artifact. However, the dreaded Ahuizotl has already gotten his dirty paws on the artifact with the intent of wreaking his revenge on not only Daring Do but Rainbow Dash! Once his villainous plot is revealed, Daring Do teams up with Rainbow Dash and her friends to put a stop to his plan and once again save Equestria.

But that's not all. This adventure is one of secrets. Secrets that will change Daring Do and Rainbow Dash's lives and bind their destinies together forever.

This story is set after the Season 8 finale. It will also contain elements from the My Little Pony and Daring Do Chapter books, but familiarity with either shouldn't be necessary.

The story is now cancelled due to lack of ideas and stuff like that. I also have many other projects to work on, and I don't have the time to work on this one. I may pick it up again if I have the time, but that's not determined at the moment.

Well. Another day, another adventure. Daring Do has just learned that Ahuizotl has found another way to ruin the lives of all the ponies that live on this world. Join her, as she travels across pits of lava, giant chasms, and even through intense storms, all to find this demon's base. Her quest must not fail. She will travel to the Ends of the World if she has to.

While visiting Griffinstone with Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and AK Yearling (Daring Do), Megan is told by Gilda and Gabby about the Idol of Boreas and how it was lost. Megan gathers the ponies and tells them they are going to get the idol and bring back their hope and pride. They hang-glided down using the winds in the abyss, only to discover that Ahuizotl and his cats are there too. Monsters called the Aramaspi take both the heroes and the villains by surprise, leaving Megan, Daring Do, and Fluttershy trapped in a cave with Ahuizotl and his cats. While they wait for Rainbow Dash to get help, Ahuizotl decides to tell how he became the villain he is and how his father was involved.
