Rainbow Dash was astonished when she encountered the real life Derring-Do that inspired her favorite string of novels, but was crushed to learn that her hero wasn't what she expected at all. The two parted ways in anger, but Dash hasn't given up on her completely: When an opportunity arises to heal the professor's crippled wing, Dash and Derring go on a real life adventure... but adventures have a way of spiraling out of control. The bookish archeologist knows nothing about swinging from vines and swiping ancient idols (and she prefers it that way), but an unbreakable curse of death forces her to dive right into a frantic race for the greatest discovery of all time: the secret to immortality itself.

Whether she believes it or not, Derring-Do has only a few short weeks left to live. But with the incomparable Rainbow Dash by her side, that's more than enough time to save the world.

The Medallion of Light and the Medallion of Shadow are some of the most powerful yet obscure artifacts of antiquity. Created by a now-vanished cult of assassins, the two devices together give their bearer the incredible power to walk the worlds with but a single step.

Nefarious forces are closing in on both artifacts, and very little stands in their way. Heinrich Himmler's agents covet the medallions for the greater glory of the Third Reich. Ahuizotl's simply want their master to get what's coming to him: the world, and everything in it.

With the fate of all good people and ponies in doubt, one thing's for certain: saving two worlds would be one hell of an adventure. And if adventure has a name, it must be Daring Do… or is that Indiana Jones?

Daring Do New Revision Edition Book 1

Legendary archaeologist Daring Do returns in this retelling of her original adventure. After crash landing on a Hayan island, Daring must make her way through the hostile rainforest as she tries to reach the legendary Sapphire Stone. At every turn, her enemies are ready and waiting to stop her and if she has any hope of getting off the island with the stone and her self in one piece, then she will have to pull out every trick in the book - and do it with one wing tied to her back.

Complications exist.

Celestia finds that she must overcome these in order to achieve her goal.

But discovers, perhaps, that she wants to go a little bit further.

Another day, another temple. Daring Do isn't a stranger to adventure, but will she be able to survive in this new temple? With her lowly assistant, and trusty wits, Daring will try to get her hooves on the one artifact that has eluded her for so long: The Crystal Orb.

Daring Do may have bitten off more than she can chew with her latest expedition partner. She seems determined to one-up Daring by using her knowledge of rocks, ignore her every instruction and not to speak a word more than necessary.
