Octavia has lived among and performed for the highest class of ponies for years, and never once questioned her way of living or life choices. But when a fateful afternoon reignites an old memory, she finds herself realizing that she's been missing something: a friend. Now lost and desperate, she can only hope the pony she removed from her life will be willing to hear from her again.

Octavia has always been an oddity among her fellow musicians. Whether it is because she lives in Ponyville as opposed to Canterlot or prefers to find inspiration in her own way, fitting in with the band hasn't been exactly simple, and feeling isolated has started taking its toll on her.

However, when Octavia visits a local pub after practicing with the band, she spots Vinyl Scratch waiting for her there, almost as if she knew Octavia would show up. Vinyl has an idea of what has been bothering Octavia lately and wants to have a chat with her.

During an interview, Vinyl and Octavia are asked a question: "Tea or coffee?"

A madcap Octascratch comedy wherein Octavia is having a quiet afternoon alone in the house and decides to eat the last of Vinyl's vanilla pudding cups from the fridge. Doing so is more difficult than she expects, especially when a time-traveling Vinyl appears with super-big news from a dark, apocalyptic future. Things quickly get out of hoof.

Twilight is a fond lover of science. She also loves having her stomach full. One day, while in her lab, she gets hungry. Feeling that she was too far into her research to go out to eat, and since Spike wasn't home, she decided to make some food right then and there. What could possibly go wrong?

Vinyl Scratch and Octavia, an unlikely vampire/werewolf team, investigate a mysterious cryptid haunting Ponyville. With Vinyl wishing to take it down to prove herself as a 'good vampire', and Octavia worrying about everypony's safety, a confrontation seems inevitable.

However, when it comes to this particular monster, not all is as it seems.

Vinyl is quite happy with her life. A minor secretary, she lives her life one day at a time, thoroughly determined to not let a good memory pass her by.

Octavia hates her life. She's the conductor of the orchestra she's played in for years, and suddenly realizes she hates everything about it. She just wants some freedom, some joy, something to smile about.

Fate brings these two together, and you get the auspicious opportunity to read their story.
