After a failed attempt by Octavia at defending Vinyl from a false murder charge, the two ponies have been sent to jail thanks to the Marefia. This doesn't sit well with either of them, so there's only one thing left to do - break out of the most heavily guarded prison in all of Equestria.

These are some of the titles many have bestowed on the virtuoso, Octavia Melody. Through countless hours of practice and studying, Octavia had become the most renowned musician in Equestria. With an abundance of fame and fortune, it seemed like she lived the perfect life. However, Octavia has lately been feeling that something is missing from her music.

A seemingly normal trip to Ponyville changes everything when she hears the sound of a fiddle. Following the music, Octavia arrives at an apple orchard. What she finds would possibly help her make her music whole again. As well as so much more.

This story takes place within Season 2 with a few elements from Season 3 mixed in.

When Octavia and Vinyl Scratch decide to combine their respective musical styles into a new genre that will celebrate not only their talent, but also their unique bond, they feel confident that they're the pioneers of the new age. So when the two find their music challenged by another pair of musicians, they set out to make sure that theirs is the best. However, the rival two aren't bad artists themselves, not to mention they’re certainly not… of the same persuasion as Vinyl and Tavi. In the snow-wrapped streets of Manehattan, can they risk exposing their new found -and still taboo- relationship, or will they be doomed to second place?

Recovering from the traumatic events that were the end of Princess Twilight Sparkle's School for Fantastic Foals, Sumac Apple does his best to enjoy the winter as it settles in. Though he doesn't know it, Sumac is about to give Vinyl Scratch her Hearth's Warming gift a little early, but that's okay.

An entry in the Weedverse.

Octavia needs some place to rest from her duties to the orchestra, her daily chores, and an annoying roommate. The night offers the perfect respite. Princess Luna, on her flights over Canterlot, hears a thin reed of music and stops to investigate.

Octavia is looking for a new home in Ponyville and decides to check out Vinyl's available space. Of course, she would happen to come to town right when a major storm's about to hit, and that storm would drop a whole tree on Vinyl's home. Seeing their situation, Fluttershy kindly offers them shelter.

That might not have been the best solution. Can Fluttershy help these two musicians get along, or is a new storm about to form inside her cottage?

Takes place at the same time as the Season 1 Episode, Look Before You Sleep.

I am surprised and flattered to discover a new audio reading by Scribbler Productions!

Vinyl Scratch is a mare of mystery: hard to meet and even harder to get to know. It is an image she has cultivated since her early days as a DJ and is not likely to ever let go. She is the queen of the music scene and her purple shades are her crown. To her roommate, Octavia, she is a vulgar annoyance and a blemish on her otherwise spotless life. However, when she accidentally destroys the one thing that matters most to the unicorn, the cellist finds herself learning more than she ever cared to know about the rock-loving mare.
